-Requirements for installation environment and sample storage of 86 ℃ ultra-low temperature storage box
Date: 2025-09-04Read: 0
  -86 ℃ ultra-low temperature storage boxIt is a specialized device used for long-term low-temperature storage of biological samples, with the core function of maintaining a stable low-temperature environment. It is widely used in biomedical, life science, clinical medicine and other fields, and can store temperature sensitive biological materials such as viruses, bacteria, cells, vaccines, blood products, genetic samples, tissue samples, etc.
  -86 ℃ ultra-low temperature storage boxInstallation environment requirements:
Place in a ventilated and dry location away from heat sources (such as avoiding proximity to heating, air conditioning vents, or direct sunlight), and reserve a heat dissipation space of ≥ 30cm on both sides and back of the equipment (otherwise it may cause the compressor to overheat, reduce cooling efficiency, or even damage);
The ambient temperature should be controlled between 5 ℃~32 ℃ (some models can withstand high temperatures of 40 ℃), and the humidity should be ≤ 80% (to avoid electrical component short circuits caused by humidity);
Use an independent dedicated power socket (grounded, ground resistance ≤ 4 Ω), with a stable power supply voltage of 220V ± 10%.
Sample storage specifications:
The sample should be placed in a sealed container or a dedicated low-temperature freezer to avoid sample leakage and contamination of the box, or frost formation and decreased refrigeration efficiency caused by the evaporation of moisture in the sample;
Prohibit the storage of flammable, explosive, corrosive substances (such as ethanol, liquid nitrogen, strong acids and bases), as well as volatile solvents (which may corrode the container or react with refrigerants);
The sample storage capacity inside the box should not be too full, and a space of ≥ 1/5 should be reserved (to ensure smooth circulation of cold air inside the box and avoid uneven local temperature), and the sample should not directly contact the evaporator inside the box.
When selecting, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the requirements of sample storage capacity, temperature control accuracy, safety functions, energy consumption, etc., to ensure compliance with the requirements of biological sample storage.
