The laboratory ultrasonic cleaning machine achieves efficient cleaning through high-frequency vibration, but its precise structure is prone to malfunction due to improper operation or long-term use. The following provides systematic solutions from three aspects: common fault classification, step-by-step troubleshooting methods, and preventive maintenance:
1、 Core fault types and diagnostic process
1. No ultrasound output (no screen display/abnormal indicator light)
Primary target for investigation: power system and control module
Step 1: Confirm that the external power supply is normal (socket voltage matching), and check if the fuse behind the device is blown (commonly caused by current overload).
Step 2: Disassemble the control panel and observe whether there are any loose connections or burn marks on the solder joints of the circuit board. Focus on checking whether the connecting cables between the ultrasonic generator and the transducer are loose.
Advanced processing: If there is no abnormality in the circuit, use a multimeter to measure the impedance value of the transducer (the normal range is usually tens to hundreds of ohms). If the resistance value is infinite, it indicates that the transducer has broken down and needs to be replaced.
2. There is a power supply, but the ultrasound is weak/intermittent
Typical causes: transducer aging or abnormal working environment
Physical inspection: Remove the bottom baffle of the cleaning tank, check whether there are cracks or detachment on the surface of the piezoelectric ceramic sheet, tap the transducer lightly and listen for sound to determine if there is hollowing (normally, a crisp metallic sound should be emitted).
• Parameter adjustment: Lower the cleaning solution level to the recommended height (usually 8-10cm from the slot), as too high a level can cause ultrasonic attenuation; Replace the cleaning solution with severe decay (such as excessive impurities causing viscosity increase).
• Temperature intervention: Models with heating function should be aware that an increase in viscosity of the cleaning agent in low-temperature environments will weaken the ultrasonic effect. The solution can be preheated to 40-50 ℃ to optimize performance.
3. Heating function failure
Dual path verification:
① Is the temperature controller set correctly, and is the sensor probe detached from the water surface or wrapped in foreign objects;
② Disconnect the heating tube connection and test its resistance value separately (normally about tens of ohms). If it is infinitely large, it indicates that the heating wire is broken and the heating module needs to be replaced as a whole.
4. Abnormal noise or leakage
Targeted maintenance:
Source of abnormal noise: mostly caused by residual hard objects in the cleaning tank hitting the transducer, and cleaning the bottom particles of the tank after shutting down and emptying; If it is sharp whistling, it is a frequency offset of the transducer and needs to be returned to the factory for calibration.
Leakage treatment: Check whether the sealing ring of the drainage pipe interface is aging, whether the door seal is damaged, and temporarily repair it with silicone sealant. If it is severe, replace the water tank assembly.
2、 Periodic maintenance plan
Daily task: Drain the waste liquid and rinse the tank, wipe off the water stains on the outer wall to prevent rusting.
Weekly maintenance: Clean the surface dust of the transducer with a soft bristled brush and test the response sensitivity of each functional key.
Quarterly deep maintenance: Disassemble the pump filter to remove crystals, and verify the accuracy of the temperature sensor (error ≤ ± 2 ℃).
Through the above structured troubleshooting strategies, more than 80% of common faults can be quickly located. For complex repairs involving electrical safety, such as replacing motherboards or modifying circuits, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer's engineers for assistance. Establishing a 'Device Operation Log' during daily use to record each abnormal phenomenon and its handling method can help accumulate targeted maintenance experience.
