1、 Preparation before use
Instrument inspection:
Confirm that the appearance of the instrument is undamaged, and that components such as buttons, display screens, and interfaces are functioning properly.
Check if the battery is fully charged (or if the power adapter is connected properly), and if the battery is low, charge it promptly.
Confirm that core components such as sampling pumps, sensors, and heating modules are working properly.
Gas source preparation:
If the instrument requires an external gas source (such as zero gas or standard gas), it is necessary to ensure that the purity of the gas source meets the requirements (such as ≥ 99.9%).
Check if the air circuit connection is secure and free of leaks.
Environmental confirmation:
Ensure that the instrument is placed in a stable, dust-free, and well ventilated environment, avoiding high temperatures, high humidity, or strong electromagnetic interference.
If used outdoors, sun and rain protection measures should be taken, and the instrument should be avoided from being directly exposed to extreme weather conditions.
2、 Startup and preheating
Connect power supply:
Press the power switch, and the instrument will automatically start and perform a self-test.
Set parameters:
Set sampling time and flow parameters according to experimental requirements.
Set the operating temperature of the column box, vaporization chamber, and detector (such as FID). The temperature of the column box should be lower than the maximum operating temperature of the chromatographic column stationary phase, and the temperature of the vaporization chamber and detector should be higher than 100 ℃ (generally set at around 150 ℃).
Preheating and ignition:
The instrument starts heating up, and when the temperature of the instrument reaches the specified temperature, the instrument starts to ignite.
When the baseline and flame temperature reach the set values, the instrument determines that ignition is successful.
3、 Calibration instrument
Zero point calibration:
Press the "Calibration" button, connect the zero gas to the injection tube, wait for calibration to complete, and ensure baseline stability.
Range calibration:
Use standard gases such as propane or methane for range calibration to ensure measurement accuracy.
Regular calibration: It is recommended to perform calibration at least once every quarter. When the frequency of use is high or the measurement error of standard gas exceeds 10%, the number of calibrations should be increased.
4、 Measurement operation
Direct injection:
Insert the front end of the sampling tube as close as possible to the center of the air or exhaust emission outlet to be tested.
Start the vacuum pump and extract sample gas to clean the sampling pipeline for 2-3 minutes.
After the instrument is running normally, readings can be taken.
Air bag sampling:
For exhaust gases that are not suitable for direct measurement, samples can be collected using airbags first.
After sampling, store in the dark, heat to 120 ℃, and then connect the instrument for testing.
Continuous measurement:
If continuous measurement is required, it is necessary to ensure that the gas flow rate is stable and avoid being too large or too small.
After the instrument stabilizes, press the "Measure" button to start automatic measurement and display the measurement results on the screen.
5、 Data Management and Export
Data storage:
The instrument has a built-in large capacity memory that can store multiple sets of measurement data.
Data export:
Through the USB interface, data can be exported to a computer for further analysis.
Open the computer WIFI, search for the host WIFI signal and successfully establish a connection.
Open the data export software, find the application, double-click the icon, and click on the concentration export to export the concentration.
Click on the spectrum export button to export the spectrum information in a txt file. Click on "More Spectrum Generation" and select the corresponding txt file to generate the corresponding spectrum and peak information.
6、 Post use maintenance
Cleaning and maintenance:
After the measurement is completed, disconnect the gas injection tube, clean the sampling probe and injection port to avoid residue affecting the next measurement.
Wipe the surface of the instrument with a soft cloth and avoid using corrosive cleaning agents.
Shutdown operation:
Press the 'shutdown' button, and the instrument will automatically shut down.
When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to turn off the power switch and cover it with a dust cover to avoid dust and dirt affecting the performance of the instrument.
Component replacement:
When the front filter of the probe is found to be significantly dirty, it needs to be replaced, or it can be replaced regularly every month. The replaced filter is cleaned with ethanol ultrasonic cleaning and can be reused.

Safe operation:
The instrument is prohibited from being used in explosion-proof environments. Choose airbag sampling for explosion-proof occasions and measure samples in the nearest safe area.
When water droplets are clearly visible in the PTFE tube of a sample gas with a high water content, sampling should be stopped and an air bag can be selected for nearby analysis.
Testing cannot be conducted during rainy or snowy weather to ensure the safety of testing personnel.
Correctly connected:
The host and battery must be connected properly. Incorrect connection can cause the battery to detach from the host and the rear panel connection to break when the entire machine is lifted.
Each port of the power supply corresponds one-to-one. If you find that it cannot be plugged in, you should pay attention to whether the small red dot is aligned and whether the port corresponds. Otherwise, forcefully plugging in will cause damage.
