High temperature resistant mica pipe is a thermosetting pipe made by impregnating mica paper with organic silicon adhesive and baking and rolling it. Appearance: The surface is smooth, without defects such as delamination, bubbles, wrinkles, etc., but the processing and finishing marks do not exceed the wall thickness tolerance index.
Measurement steps for high-temperature resistant mica pipes:
1. Preparation stage:
-Equipment preparation: It is necessary to prepare high resistance meters, breakdown voltage testers, constant temperature ovens and other testing equipment, and ensure that these devices are in good working condition.
-Sample preparation: Select representative mica tube samples and check their appearance for completeness, no obvious defects, cracks, or damage. If there is dirt or impurities on the surface of the sample, appropriate cleaning treatment should be carried out to avoid affecting the test results.
2. Volume resistivity test:
-Preheating: Place the mica tube sample in a constant temperature oven and set the appropriate temperature according to the testing requirements, such as 100 ℃, 150 ℃, 200 ℃, etc. Preheat for a certain period of time to achieve thermal equilibrium of the sample.
-Measurement: Use a high resistance meter to measure the volume resistance of the preheated mica tube sample according to the operating procedures. During the measurement process, it is important to ensure good contact between the electrode and the sample surface to avoid measurement errors caused by poor contact. Record the volume resistance values at different temperatures.
-Calculation: Based on the measured resistance value and the size of the sample, calculate the volume resistivity according to the relevant calculation formula. Generally speaking, the higher the volume resistivity, the better the insulation performance of mica pipes.
3. Breakdown voltage test:
-Boosting: Place the pre treated mica tube sample between the two electrodes of the breakdown voltage tester, ensuring that the electrodes are in close contact with the sample. Then increase the voltage at a uniform rate until the sample experiences breakdown, and record the breakdown voltage value at this time.
-Repeated measurement: In order to improve the accuracy of test results, it is usually necessary to test multiple samples under the same conditions and take the average value as the breakdown voltage result.
4. Data analysis and evaluation:
-Comparison standards: Compare the volume resistivity and breakdown voltage data obtained from the test with relevant standards or technical requirements to determine whether the insulation performance of mica pipes meets the requirements. If the test results are lower than the standard requirements, further analysis of the reasons is needed, which may be due to issues with the material quality, production process, and other aspects of the mica tube.
-Comprehensive evaluation: In addition to insulation performance indicators, other physical properties of mica pipes, such as hardness, density, temperature resistance, etc., can also be combined to conduct a comprehensive evaluation to understand the quality status of mica pipes.
