High temperature mica board has environmental performance. It does not contain harmful substances such as asbestos, and emits less smoke and odor during production and use, meeting the strict requirements of modern society for environmentally friendly materials. This not only benefits the physical health of operators, but also reduces environmental pollution, reflecting the concept of sustainable development.
The verification and calibration methods for high-temperature mica plates are as follows:
1. Appearance inspection
-Verification: Visually inspect the surface of the mica board for defects such as cracks, damages, detachment, delamination, bubbles, impurities, etc., ensure that the edges are neat, and check for any gaps or broken edges. For larger areas of mica plates, tools such as magnifying glasses can be used for more detailed observation.
-Calibration: If minor defects are found on mica boards that do not affect overall performance, their location and extent can be recorded and given special attention in subsequent use; If there are serious defects, it will be judged as an unqualified product and no further calibration is required.
2. Dimensional measurement
-Verification: Use measuring tools with appropriate accuracy, such as calipers, micrometers, etc., to measure the length, width, thickness, and other dimensions of mica plates. The measurement should be carried out at multiple positions to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results. Compare the measured dimensions with the product specifications or relevant standard requirements to determine if the dimensions meet the requirements.
-Calibration: If the dimensional deviation is within the allowable range, the mica board can be appropriately trimmed or marked so that it can be adjusted according to the actual situation during use; If the size exceeds the allowable deviation, the mica board may not meet the requirements for use, and it is necessary to decide whether to rework or scrap it according to the specific situation.
3. Insulation performance testing
-Verification:
-Volume resistivity test: Preheat the mica plate sample in a constant temperature oven to the set temperature, then measure its volume resistivity using a high resistance meter and calculate the volume resistivity. Measuring volume resistivity at different temperatures can evaluate its insulation performance in high-temperature environments.
-Surface resistivity test: Use a high resistance meter to directly measure the surface resistivity of the mica plate and understand its insulation condition.
-Breakdown voltage test: Using a breakdown voltage tester, apply gradually increasing voltage at both ends of the mica plate until the mica plate is broken down. Record the voltage value at this time as the breakdown voltage, which characterizes its insulation strength.
-Calibration: If the insulation performance does not meet the expected requirements, it is necessary to check whether the testing process is correct, such as whether the testing environment meets the requirements and whether the accuracy of the testing equipment is sufficient. If the test is correct, mica boards with decreased insulation performance due to moisture or other reasons can be dried and retested; If there are other quality issues, they need to be repaired or replaced according to the specific situation.
