Explosion proof level matching: Select the corresponding explosion-proof level gate valve based on the explosive gas or dust level of the usage environment.
Valve material adaptation:
Valve body material: Select according to the properties of the medium, temperature, and pressure. When transporting corrosive media, stainless steel material is preferred; High temperature and high pressure media should be made of cast steel material.
Sealing material: Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is corrosion-resistant and has a low friction coefficient, suitable for various media; Rubber seals have good elasticity and are commonly used in ambient temperature and low-pressure environments; Metal seal is resistant to high temperature and high pressure, suitable for highly corrosive media.
Pressure and temperature tolerance: The rated pressure of the gate valve should be greater than the working pressure of the pipeline system, and the rated temperature should meet the high temperature requirements of the medium.
Flow and diameter matching: Select gate valves with appropriate diameters according to the flow requirements of the pipeline system. The larger the diameter, the greater the required driving force. It is necessary to ensure that the output torque of the electric actuator can meet the valve opening and closing requirements to avoid operation failure due to insufficient torque.
Performance of electric actuator:
Output torque: It needs to be greater than the required torque for valve opening and closing, and the torque demand should be calculated based on factors such as valve diameter, pressure, medium, etc. Choose an actuator with sufficient torque reserve.
Control mode: Select switch type or regulating type according to system requirements. Regulating type is suitable for parameter control scenarios such as flow and pressure.
Drive mode selection:
Select the driving mode based on the operating frequency and automation requirements. Frequent opening and closing scenarios require the use of wear-resistant and well sealed electric drives; Manual drive is suitable for low-frequency operation or emergency scenarios; Pneumatic drive is suitable for situations with high explosion-proof requirements and fast response.
