1、 Core maintenance measures
Daily cleaning and anti fouling
Equipment surface: After daily testing, use a dry soft cloth to wipe the equipment casing, control panel, and fixture surface to avoid dust and oil accumulation. For difficult to clean stains, you can dip a small amount of neutral cleaner to wipe, but avoid the gaps between the display screen and buttons to prevent liquid from seeping in and causing short circuits.
Fixtures and sensors: Clean the debris and oil stains from the moving parts of the fixture after each test. During the plastic film tensile test, there may be residual glue in the fixture, which needs to be wiped with an alcohol swab to prevent adhesion from affecting subsequent testing.
Work area: Check if there are any debris in the test area, ensure that the crossbeam moves smoothly, and avoid hard objects colliding with key components such as the lifting screw.
Lubrication of key components
Transmission components: Apply specialized lubricating grease (such as lithium based grease) to transmission components such as lead screws and guide rails every month. The grease should be evenly distributed along the guide rails during application, and the lead screws should rotate synchronously to ensure comprehensive lubricant coverage.
Fixture hinge: Apply a small amount of lubricating grease to the hinge, slider, and other parts of the fixture every quarter to avoid excessive lubrication and contamination of the sample.
Caution: Insufficient lubrication may cause equipment to run on time or experience increased wear and tear.
Fastener inspection
Bolts and nuts: Check the bolts and nuts of fixtures, sensors, motors, and other parts for looseness every week. Use a wrench to tighten one by one and observe whether the equipment runs smoothly.
Power supply and circuit maintenance
Cable inspection: Check monthly whether the power and data cables are damaged, and whether the plug connections are secure. If the cable is found to be aging or the insulation layer is cracked, it needs to be replaced immediately.
Control cabinet cleaning: Regularly clean the dust in the control cabinet to prevent overheating of electronic components due to poor heat dissipation.
Hydraulic system (if applicable): Check the hydraulic oil level quarterly. If it is below the scale line, replenish the same type of hydraulic oil and filter impurities to avoid oil circuit blockage.
2、 Systematic calibration process
Calibration cycle recommendation
Regular cycle: Conduct a comprehensive calibration every 3 months, or recalibrate after replacing sensors or repairing equipment.
Dynamic adjustment: Flexibly adjust according to usage frequency and environmental conditions.
Regulatory basis: The calibration cycle must comply with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and the calibration certificate should not include fixed interval recommendations, which need to be determined based on actual usage.
Force system calibration
Standard weight method:
Enter the computer calibration interface and press the test start button.
Hang the standard weight (such as 0.1 or 0.3 grade) lightly on the fixture connection seat.
Record the force value displayed on the computer, calculate the difference with the standard weight, and the error should be ≤± 1%.
Application scenario: Suitable for material research and development or quality control processes that require high-precision measurement.
Displacement system calibration
Standard measurement block method:
Measure the actual distance of the crossbeam movement using standard gauge blocks or laser interferometers.
Compare the system display values and adjust the error to ≤± 1%.
Speed calibration:
Record the initial position of the crossbeam and set the speed value on the control panel.
Use a stopwatch to time for 1 minute, measure the travel value of the crossbar, and calculate the speed error to be ≤± 1%.
Calibration of extensometer
Specialized calibrator: Use an extensometer calibrator to provide accurate standard displacement, calibrate the measured strain values, and ensure an error of ≤± 0.5%.
Importance: The extensometer is a key sensor for measuring the micro deformation of a specimen, and its accuracy directly affects parameters such as elastic modulus and elongation at break.
3、 Additional suggestions for extending the lifespan of equipment
environmental control
Temperature and humidity: The equipment should be placed in a constant temperature and humidity environment (room temperature 20-25 ℃, humidity 40% -60%) to avoid electronic component aging caused by high temperature and humidity.
Dust prevention measures: Cover the equipment with a dust cover to reduce dust from entering the interior.
Operating Specifications
Sample preparation: Ensure that the sample size meets the standard and avoid excessive tightening during clamping, which may cause damage to the sample or data deviation.
Parameter setting: Select appropriate test speed, force range, and other parameters based on the characteristics of the sample to avoid overloading operation.
Long term storage management
Regular power on: If the equipment is not used for a long time, it should be powered on once a month to prevent moisture and mold from damaging the components.
Rust prevention treatment: Apply rust proof oil to exposed metal parts to prevent rusting.
Emergency handling of faults
Immediate shutdown: If any abnormal sound, vibration, or data occurs during the test, the test should be stopped immediately and the cause investigated.
Professional maintenance: Do not disassemble the equipment by yourself, contact the manufacturer or professional maintenance personnel to handle the malfunction.
