A transfer window is a device installed at the entrance and exit of a clean room or between rooms of different cleanliness levels, which blocks the flow of indoor and outdoor air when transferring goods, in order to prevent polluted air from entering cleaner areas and causing cross contamination. When the air shower type transfer window transfers materials, high-speed and clean airflow is blown out from the top to remove dust particles on the surface of the goods. Standardized operating procedures:
Preparation before transmission:
Wipe the item with 0.5% peracetic acid and remove the outer packaging.
Open the outer door to put in articles, and close it after spray disinfection.
Control during transmission:
Strictly implement the "single opening and single closing" policy: close the outer door → open the inner door → retrieve items → close the inner door.
UV irradiation for ≥ 15 minutes (biological samples need to be extended to 30 minutes).
Maintenance after transmission:
Clean the inner wall daily with 75% ethanol and calibrate the wind speed/pressure difference monthly.
The high-efficiency filter needs to be replaced if the pressure difference is greater than 250Pa or it has been used for one year.
