The fully automatic pesticide residue detector is an instrument used for rapid detection of organophosphate and carbamate pesticide residues in food. It achieves on-site screening through enzyme inhibition principle and photoelectric colorimetric method.
This instrument is based on the principle of cholinesterase activity inhibition. When the above-mentioned pesticides are present in the sample, the enzyme activity is inhibited, resulting in a decrease in the color reaction rate. By measuring the absorbance change at a wavelength of 412nm and calculating the inhibition rate, the pesticide residue situation can be determined.
Application scenarios
On site rapid detection: suitable for pesticide residue screening in vegetable and fruit wholesale markets, supermarkets, and other places.
Laboratory upgrade: Integrated light source calibration, automatic sample addition, and other functions to improve detection efficiency, supporting multitasking parallel processing.
Multi level protection: Cooperate with equipment such as fruit and vegetable meat detectors and high-performance liquid chromatographs to establish a food safety monitoring system.
Precautions for use
Sample pretreatment: Although the instrument has a high degree of automation, the pre preparation of the sample (such as homogenization, extraction, centrifugation) requires standardized operation, otherwise it may affect the detection results (such as excessive impurities that may interfere with the reaction).
Reagent storage: Acetylcholinesterase and other reagents need to be refrigerated at low temperatures (2-8 ℃) and equilibrated to room temperature before use to avoid affecting enzyme activity.
Regular calibration: Use standard samples (such as pesticide standard solutions of known concentrations) to regularly calibrate the instrument to ensure detection accuracy.
Maintenance: Regularly clean sampling needles, reaction tanks, and other components to prevent cross contamination; The optical detection unit should avoid direct sunlight and dust pollution.
The fully automatic pesticide residue detector achieves rapid screening of pesticide residues through automated sample processing, reaction control, and data analysis, and is an important tool for ensuring food safety. The detection technology with enzyme inhibition as the core is suitable for rapid on-site detection, while some instruments with integrated chromatography/mass spectrometry technology meet the requirements for accurate analysis. The two complement each other to form a complete detection system from screening to confirmation, providing a guarantee for the quality and safety of agricultural products.
