The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) washing machine is mainly used to clean residual substances after ELISA plate detection, thereby reducing errors caused by residues in subsequent detection processes. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) washing machine achieves accurate residual control through multi-point positioning and liquid absorption technology.
Main functions and application scenarios
The core functions of the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) washing machine include bottom flushing, shaking, soaking, and fine tuning of pipelines, which can be adapted to different specifications of microplates such as flat bottomed, U-shaped, and V-shaped bottoms. It supports users to customize multiple washing programs and is equipped with a liquid level alarm system to prevent waste liquid overflow, suitable for microbial antibody detection and high-intensity laboratory work environments. In addition, the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) washing machine is usually used in conjunction with an ELISA reader.
There are 8 or 12 pairs of stainless steel injection/suction tubes on the plate washing nozzle, and each pair of needle tubes is directly opposite to the reaction well of the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay plate. The injection pump draws the washing solution from the washing bottle into the washing machine, and then injects it into the reaction well of the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay plate to be washed through the solenoid valve, washing nozzle, and injection needle tube. The cleaned waste liquid is pumped out of the washing machine by the waste liquid pump through the suction needle tube and the washing plate nozzle. During the washing process, the lifting and lowering of the washing nozzle, the movement of the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) plate, the control of the washing solution injection amount, soaking time, and cleaning frequency are all automatically controlled by a microcomputer according to a pre programmed program.
Precautions for use
Selection of washing plates and magnetic beads: According to the experimental needs, choose suitable washing plates and magnetic beads to ensure their good quality and meet the experimental requirements.
Sample processing: The pre-treatment method of the sample should meet the experimental requirements and refer to the recommendations in the equipment manual.
Washing process: Ensure that the washing plate and magnetic beads are correctly installed, the sample and washing solution are filled correctly, and avoid overflow or leakage. During the experiment, it is necessary to regularly check the operating status and parameter settings of the equipment to ensure the smooth progress of the washing process.
Equipment cleaning and maintenance: After the experiment is completed, clean the equipment in a timely manner to avoid the accumulation of residues that may cause damage to the equipment. According to the instructions in the equipment manual, regularly maintain the equipment to ensure its long-term use.
Safety precautions: Follow laboratory safety operating procedures, wear personal protective equipment, and avoid contact with harmful substances. During operation, attention should be paid to the insulation, waterproofing, and electric shock prevention safety performance of the equipment.
