Guidelines for Calibration and Maintenance of Safety Shoe Impact Testing Machine
Date: 2025-07-02Read: 0
The safety shoe impact resistance testing machine is a device used to test the impact resistance and protective effect of safety shoes when subjected to external impact forces. It usually evaluates the safety performance of shoes by simulating various impacts that may occur in the working environment, ensuring that they meet relevant standard requirements. Regular calibration and maintenance are crucial to ensure the accuracy of test results and the long-term stability of equipment.
1、 Calibration requirements
1. Impact force calibration
Calibrating the impact force sensor is to ensureSafety shoe impact resistance testing machineAn important step in precise testing. Generally speaking, testing agencies will use standard impact sources to simulate different degrees of impact. According to the requirements of the equipment, the impact force sensor should be able to accurately record and reflect the magnitude of the applied impact force. By comparing the device readings with the standard values, the accuracy of the equipment can be checked and necessary adjustments can be made.
2. Motion path calibration
The motion path of the impact plate or impact body needs to maintain an accurate vertical direction, and the position of each impact should be consistent. During calibration, the operator should check for any deviation in the motion path to ensure that the impact plate can impact on the correct trajectory. If any deviation is found, the guide rails and driving devices of the equipment should be adjusted in a timely manner.
3. Displacement measurement calibration
Displacement measurement sensors are used to accurately record the movement distance of impact bodies or impact plates, which is crucial for evaluating the impact resistance performance of safety shoes. When calibrating, standard displacement reference tools should be used to ensure that the readings of the displacement sensor match the actual displacement. Regularly check the accuracy of displacement sensors to avoid distortion of test data due to measurement errors.

2、 Maintenance points
1. Regular cleaning
Regularly cleaning the impact testing machine for safety shoes can effectively prevent dust, impurities, or moisture from affecting the equipment and extend its service life. Especially for impact plates, sensors, and moving parts, they should be wiped regularly with a clean soft cloth and non corrosive cleaning agent. Avoid using rough tools or chemical solvents to clean equipment to prevent damage to surface coatings or sensitive components.
2. Check the sensor
Sensors are key components and their performance must be regularly checked. Regularly verify the sensitivity and accuracy of the sensor, and ensure that the sensor's cables and connection ports are not worn or loose. If any damage is found, the sensor should be replaced immediately. Especially after the equipment has experienced significant impact or vibration, the inspection of sensors is particularly important.
3. Check the impact device
The impact device needs to withstand strong impact forces, therefore, regular inspection of the integrity and durability of the impact device is a key focus in maintenance. Check whether the impact plate is flat, whether there are cracks or deformations, confirm whether the motion trajectory of the impact body is smooth, and lubricate and adjust the impact device if necessary.
The calibration and maintenance of the impact testing machine for safety shoes are crucial for ensuring the accuracy of test results and the long-term stability of the equipment. By regularly calibrating key indicators such as impact force, motion path, and displacement measurement, ensure that the equipment can provide accurate data in each test. Meanwhile, maintenance work should cover aspects such as cleaning, lubrication, sensor inspection, and electrical system inspection.
