On July 25-27, 2025, the 31st National Symposium on Geotechnical Testing, jointly organized by the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Civil Engineering and the Geotechnical Engineering Professional Committee of the Chinese Water Conservancy Society, and hosted by Xinjiang University and other units, was grandly held in Urumqi, Xinjiang.
