Analysis of the Function of Sample Tube and Adapter in Large Capacity High Speed Freeze Centrifuge
Date: 2025-06-22Read: 4
Large capacity high-speed cryogenic centrifuge is an important equipment used in laboratories and industrial production. It combines high-speed centrifugation technology and low-temperature control technology, and is widely used in fields such as biology, chemistry, medicine, and environmental science. Its main function is to separate and precipitate different components in the sample through centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, while conducting it in a low-temperature environment to protect the sample from degradation or damage caused by high temperature.
The core principle of a large capacity high-speed cryogenic centrifuge is to use centrifugal force to separate substances of different densities. During the centrifugation process, the sample is placed in a centrifuge tube and a strong centrifugal force is generated by the rotation of the rotor. According to the density of different substances, heavier substances will be forced to move towards the bottom of the centrifuge tube, while lighter substances will remain at the top of the centrifuge tube. The effectiveness of this separation depends on factors such as rotational speed, centrifugation time, temperature, etc.

Large capacity high-speed freezing centrifugeThe components of:
1. Host: The host is the core part of the centrifuge, usually including the motor, transmission system, control system, etc. The motor provides power to enable the rotor to rotate at high speed; The transmission system transmits power to the rotor through mechanisms such as gears and belts; The control system is responsible for adjusting parameters such as speed, time, and temperature.
2. Rotor: The rotor is a critical component of a centrifuge, responsible for holding samples and achieving rotation. The design and material of the rotor determine the performance and applicability of the centrifuge. The rotor is generally made of high-strength aluminum alloy or titanium alloy material, which can withstand the huge centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation. Common types of rotors include angular rotors and horizontal rotors.
3. Refrigeration system: The refrigeration system mainly consists of a compressor, condenser, evaporator, and temperature control system. Through these devices, the refrigeration system can provide a stable low-temperature environment, ensuring that the sample does not denature due to excessive temperature during centrifugation. The temperature control accuracy and efficiency of the refrigeration system directly affect the effectiveness of the centrifugation process.
4. Control panel and display screen: Equipped with modern control panel and display screen, users can operate through touch screen or buttons to set experimental parameters such as speed, time, temperature, etc. Control systems usually have memory functions that can store multiple sets of commonly used parameters, making it easy for experimenters to quickly access them.
5. Safety protection system: In order to ensure safety during use, multiple safety protection functions are usually equipped, such as overload protection, temperature protection, overspeed protection, door lock protection, etc. If there is an abnormal situation during the operation of the centrifuge, such as the speed exceeding the set range or the temperature being too high, the safety protection system will automatically stop working and issue a warning signal to ensure the safety of equipment and personnel.
6. Sample tube and adapter: The sample tube is a container that holds the sample to be processed, usually made of transparent plastic or glass material, which allows for easy observation of the separation process of the sample. The adapter is used to adapt sample tubes of different sizes and shapes, ensuring balance and stability during centrifugation.
