The Sievers Boron Ultra online UPW boron analyzer is a new generation of ultrapure water (UPW) boron analyzer that can detect dissolved boron concentrations in parts per trillion (ppt). The Boron Ultra analyzer is the only real-time online boron analyzer on the market, helping many microelectronics manufacturers and owners of ultrapure water systems to continuously monitor boron control processes and meet the specifications for ultrapure water in the International Roadmap for Devices and Systems (IRDS) (i.e. 50 ppt).

The Sievers Boron Ultra analyzer can detect an increase in boron before the release of silica, which helps prevent silica from leaking into ultrapure water. This analyzer can actively detect silica and other ion pollutants released from processes such as mixed resin bed ion exchange and electronic deionization, thereby helping users improve effective output and reduce ion exchange process costs.
