This standard specifies emission limits for particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, hydrogen chloride, ammonia, mercury and its compounds, cadmium and its compounds, antimony, arsenic, lead, chromium, cobalt, copper, manganese, nickel and its compounds, as well as dioxins.

For matters not specified in this standard, relevant provisions in GB18485 shall be followed. This standard was proposed by the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Ecology and EnvironmentRelease and manage. The main drafting unit of this standard is Tianjin Ecological Environment Monitoring Center.
