Instructions for using the oil cleanliness tester
Date: 2024-12-18Read: 1

The oil cleanliness detector is a device used to evaluate the content of impurities and pollutants in oil products, and can measure the content of particulate matter, moisture, and other pollutants in oil products. The following is the usage method of the oil cleanliness tester:

1、 Preparation stage
Prepare samples: Prepare the oil samples to be tested according to the requirements of the instrument. Ensure that the sample is clean, free from contamination, and accurately represents the oil being tested.
Calibration instrument: According to the guidance provided by the manufacturer, calibrate the instrument using standard samples. Calibration can ensure the accuracy and reliability of instrument measurement results.
2、 Operation phase
Start measurement:
Place the instrument on a horizontal workbench and ensure it is in a stable state.
Turn on the instrument power and wait for its self-test to complete.
According to the operating instructions of the instrument, set necessary measurement parameters such as measurement range, particle size channel, etc.
Place the oil sample to be tested into the sample chamber or measuring unit of the instrument.
Click the 'Start Measurement' button, and the sensor will start measuring.
Waiting for results: During the measurement process, the instrument will automatically analyze the sample and provide corresponding detection results. This process may take some time, please be patient.
Save and Print:
After the measurement is completed, click the "Save" button to save the measurement results to the internal memory of the instrument.
If necessary, you can click the "Print" button to print out the measurement results.
3、 Result analysis
Interpretation result: Instrument measurement results are usually presented in the form of particle quantity, particle size distribution, moisture content, etc. Based on the obtained data, assess the cleanliness level of the oil and identify potential issues.
Judging oil quality:
When the measurement result is displayed as good (green), it indicates that the oil quality is good and can continue to be used.
When the measurement result is displayed as medium (yellow), it indicates that the oil quality is available, but it is important to check regularly.
When the measurement result is displayed as poor (red), it indicates that the oil quality has exceeded the standard and should be replaced in a timely manner.
4、 Subsequent maintenance
Cleaning the instrument: After each use, the sample chamber or measuring unit of the instrument should be cleaned to maintain its cleanliness and good working condition.
Regular calibration: To ensure the accuracy of measurement results, the instrument should be calibrated regularly.
Safety measures: During sample preparation and processing, personal protection should be taken to prevent contact with chemicals and harmful substances.
