flow sensorIt is a key device used to measure the flow rate of fluids (liquids or gases), with diverse working principles and application scenarios.
Application Scenario:
Automotive industry: Wing type and Karman vortex sensors are used for engine air-fuel ratio control.
Medical equipment: Hot film sensors are used for regulating the gas flow rate of ventilators, which directly affects the accuracy of ventilation volume.
Industrial monitoring: Electromagnetic flow meters exhibit stability in complex media such as acidic and alkaline solutions and mud.
Key points for installation and maintenance:
Electromagnetic flowmeter: It is necessary to ensure that the lining material is corrosion-resistant (such as polytetrafluoroethylene), and the electrode selection should match the characteristics of the medium.
Ultrasonic flowmeter: During installation, attention should be paid to sensor spacing and pipeline material to avoid signal attenuation.
How to calibrate flow sensors:
Preparation before calibration:
Environmental conditions:
It needs to be carried out in an environment without wind, dust, and stable temperature and humidity. When the temperature fluctuation exceeds 5 ℃, recalibration is required.
Equipment inspection:
Before calibration, it is necessary to verify the accuracy of the standard instrument (such as the reference table accuracy in the standard table method needs to be one level higher than the calibrated table) and the consistency of the fluid medium.
Common calibration methods:
Standard table method:
Connect high-precision standard flow meters in series with the calibrated meter to compare readings at 20%, 50%, and 80% range points, suitable for rapid calibration in industrial sites.
Volumetric method:
Collect fluid through a standard container and time it, calculate the actual flow rate, suitable for high-precision calibration of liquids (error can be controlled within ± 0.1%).
Zero point calibration:
Adjust zero drift when turning off flow, for example, a thermal sensor needs to reset the reference value in a state of no airflow.
