Magnetic electric heating sleeveIntegrating heating and stirring functions, it is widely used in chemical synthesis, dissolution, crystallization and other experiments. However, if residual reagents, solvent volatiles, or spilled materials are not cleaned up in a timely manner, it not only affects the accuracy of the next experiment, but may also corrode the equipment and shorten its lifespan. The following is a standardized cleaning and maintenance process:
1、 Power off cooling, safety first
After use, turn off the power first and wait for the sleeve to cool naturally to below 50 ℃ before cleaning. Do not wipe or rinse with a damp cloth at high temperatures to prevent ceramic liner cracking or circuit short circuits caused by thermal expansion and contraction.
2、 Surface cleaning
Dip a soft cloth in neutral detergent (such as diluted detergent) and wipe the outer shell and control panel to remove oil stains or fingerprints. It is strictly prohibited to use acetone, strong acids and alkalis, or steel wire balls to avoid damaging the coating or display screen.
3、 Inner liner and heating chamber treatment
If liquid splashes into the groove of the inner container, use absorbent paper to absorb it and then clean the gap with a dry cotton swab;
For stubborn residues (such as polymers and salt crystals), they can be gently scraped off with a wooden shovel, and metal tools are prohibited from prying hard;
The inner container cannot be washed with water! If the pollution is severe, a small amount of ethanol can be used to moisten the non-woven fabric and gently wipe it, then thoroughly dry it.

4、 Maintenance of magnetic stirring system
After removing the agitator, clean it separately to avoid residual iron filings;
Regularly check whether the bottom magnet compartment has been filled with liquid (especially when using open containers), and if there is any infiltration, dismantle the machine and dry it;
When not in use for a long time, apply 1-2 drops of silicone oil to the magnetic rotor bearing for rust prevention.
5、 Storage and Regular Inspection
Store in a dry and ventilated place to avoid stacking. Power on and run for 10 minutes without load every month to prevent electronic components from getting damp and aging. Calibrate the temperature sensor once a year and check if the insulation layer of the power cord is damaged.
Following the above process can significantly prolongMagnetic electric heating sleeveThe service life (usually up to 5-8 years), while ensuring a clean experimental environment and reliable data, provides stable support for scientific research work.
