Circular compression molds are usually composed of multiple components
Date: 2025-03-25Read: 1
The working principle of the circular tablet mold is mainly to press the powder material into sheets through pressure. The specific operation process includes four steps: feeding, feeding, pressing, and discharging; It is usually composed of multiple components, including upper mold, lower mold, mold hole, mold core, mold edge, positioning pin, pressure shaft, pressure back plate, chassis, etc. These components work together to press the powder material into a circular sheet shape; Widely used in materials science research, catalytic experiments, ceramic sintering experiments, cement and building materials, pharmaceutical research and development, and sample preparation industries. In these fields, they all play an important role and provide strong support for the development of related industries.
The characteristics of the circular compression mold:
1. It can compress powder or granular materials into circular sheet-like samples, greatly improving production efficiency.
2. Through accurate control and adjustment, it can be ensured that each circular sample meets the predetermined specifications and quality requirements.
3. The operation is simple and convenient, and professionally trained operators can easily get started.
4. According to customer requirements, different sizes and materials can be customized to meet the needs of specific industrial applications.
Precautions for using circular compression molds:
1. Strictly operate according to the rated pressure range of the mold to avoid damage to the mold caused by overpressure. Different sample and mold sizes may require different pressures, which need to be adjusted according to specific circumstances.
2. The particle size and humidity of the sample should meet the requirements, otherwise it may affect the compression effect and the service life of the mold. For example, if the sample is too damp, it may cause sticking to the mold, while uneven particle size can result in inconsistent density of the compressed material.
3. During the operation, the pressure and demolding actions should be carried out smoothly and slowly to avoid sudden impact or vibration that may damage the mold. At the same time, operations should be carried out in the correct order and steps should not be reversed arbitrarily.
4. When operating, personal protective equipment such as protective gloves and goggles should be worn to prevent accidental injuries during the compression process. Especially when applying pressure and demolding, attention should be paid to hand safety.
5. After each use, the mold should be cleaned, coated with oil or rust inhibitor, and then stored in a dryer to prevent rusting of the mold. If not used for a long time, the mold should also be inspected and maintained regularly.
6. The usage environment should be kept dry and clean, avoiding use in damp and corrosive gas environments to avoid affecting the performance and lifespan of the mold.
