The combination of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS) techniques can explore the structural and elemental information of pollutants in battery materials. However, pollutants in batteries usually have low concentration levels, and when using traditional EDS to study these pollutants, the image acquisition time may be longer. In this application document, we introduce a simple method for quickly characterizing pollutants, which utilizes a new SEM platform - Thermo Scientific ™ Axia ™ ChemiSEM， Can quickly and conveniently analyze the microstructure of materials and detect defects.
