Due to the three-dimensional and multi-scale characteristics of lithium-ion battery structures, it is very challenging to understand the structure of lithium-ion batteries at multiple scales, that is, to achieve three-dimensional structural characterization from the cell level (millimeter scale) to the electrode material particle level (nanometer scale). In this technical document, we propose a workflow for multi-scale 3D imaging and analysis, which can be used to quantitatively analyze the structure performance correlation of lithium-ion batteries.
