Oil chromatography analyzer is an instrument used to detect the content of dissolved gas components in insulating oil. It mainly utilizes the differences in boiling point, polarity, and adsorption coefficient of each component in the sample in the chromatographic column to separate the components in the column. Then, the separated components are qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed by a detector, which is widely used in power systems.
Operation process of oil chromatography analyzer:
1. Sample collection and processing: Use a 100ml syringe to take 40ml of oil sample (ensure no bubbles), seal with a rubber cap; Take 5ml of nitrogen gas with a 5ml syringe, inject the oil sample, and place it in an shaker for oscillation; After the oscillation is completed, use another 5ml syringe to remove all the gas, seal it with a rubber cap, and record the volume of gas released.
2. Instrument preparation: Check the status of the instrument to ensure that the carrier gas (such as hydrogen, helium) supply is normal, and that components such as chromatography columns and detectors are installed correctly; Set instrument parameters (such as column temperature, injection volume, detector temperature, etc.) based on sample type and analysis requirements.
3. Injection analysis: Inject the processed gas sample into the injector with a 1ml syringe and start the instrument for analysis; The instrument automatically completes sample separation, detection, and data processing, generating gas chromatograms and analysis reports.
4. Interpretation and reporting of results: Based on the chromatogram and analysis report, determine whether the component content of dissolved gases in the insulating oil exceeds the standard; If any abnormalities are found, combined with the equipment operation history and fault diagnosis methods, further analyze the type and cause of equipment faults; Write a testing report, record the testing data, analysis results, and conclusions and recommendations.
