When current passes through the electromagnet, the alternating magnetic field generated drives the electromagnetic push rod to make linear motion, thereby driving the diaphragm to perform reciprocating motion inside the pump head. This movement causes regular changes in the volume and pressure of the pump head chamber: during the suction stage, the chamber volume increases to form negative pressure, and the inlet valve opens to suck in liquid; During the drainage phase, the volume of the chamber decreases and the pressure increases, and the outlet valve opens to discharge the liquid. Users can choose the corresponding series of metering pumps based on flow rate, pressure, explosion-proof, power supply, and self-control requirements. The P series is suitable for manual control, with a stroke frequency of 60spm/100spm, a power of 22W, a flow range of 0.01-12.1L/h, and a pressure range of 1.5-17.3bar. The A series supports manual/automatic control with a stroke frequency of 100spm and a power of 22W. The B series also supports manual/automatic control with a stroke frequency of 100spm, but the power is increased to 29W. As a high-performance option, the C series has a power of 44W/87W, a maximum pressure of 20.7 bar, and a flow rate of 95.0L/h. The E series is designed for explosion-proof applications with a power of 44W. The H series is a high-pressure option with a plunger design, with a power of 22W and a pressure of up to 70bar. The J5 series supports DC power supply (12VDC) with a power of 22W, suitable for scenarios without AC power or mobile applications.

3、 Control mode and intelligent characteristics

The advanced model with a control code of 9 adopts programmable high-precision microprocessor control, with LCD display and four touch keys, capable of receiving external 4-20mA signals or pulse signals for control. The control mode encoded as 7 can receive external pulse signals (passive reed switch, transistor or optocoupler contact) for control, and supports manual/automatic mode selection. The basic model with code 1 provides manual adjustment of stroke length and stroke frequency function (manual dual adjustment). The intelligent control function is a prominent feature. The model can perform multiplication or division operations and batch accumulation on input pulses, and can be paired with a Digi Pulse flow monitor for alarm monitoring of flow. Through the MP series control module, the pump can receive 4-20mA control signals or perform multiplication/division operations on the received pulse signals to achieve precise proportional control. The accessory of pulse transmitter 26006 can control up to 10 pumps simultaneously, maintaining synchronous control, so it can simultaneously control the addition of up to 10 chemicals, and preset the proportional values between each pump. This feature is particularly required in complex application scenarios where multiple chemicals need to be accurately added in proportion.

4、 Pump head material and compatible medium

Milton Roy electromagnetic pumps offer a variety of pump head materials to adapt to different chemical media and working environments. Plastic pump heads mainly include PVC (polyvinyl chloride), PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride), PP (polypropylene), etc., and different materials have different corrosion resistance characteristics. The metal pump head is mainly made of 316 stainless steel, suitable for high temperature, high pressure or special corrosive media. For special application scenarios, slurry pump heads (suitable for media with solid content ≤ 5%) and high viscosity pump heads (capable of handling liquids with a maximum viscosity of 4000cp) are also provided. The pump head coding system provides a detailed selection guide. For example, -368TI represents PVC pump head, specification code 1.8; -393TI represents PVDF pump head, specification code 0.9; -297 represents 316SS stainless steel pump head, specification code 0.9. This systematic coding method facilitates users to choose the appropriate pump head configuration based on the chemical properties, physical properties, flow rate, pressure, and other parameters of the conveyed medium.
