Digital particle strength testerProduct Introduction:
This instrument is a new type of instrument that uses advanced sensing and measurement technology to achieve digital display, suitable for measuring the crushing strength of spherical or cylindrical granular materials. The instrument has the advantages of small size, direct reading of measurement values, high accuracy, and easy use, making it an ideal new generation of testing instrument for determining the strength of samples such as fertilizers, drugs, catalysts, and particles.
Usage:
1. Rotate the handwheel counterclockwise to move the force lever upward, turn on the power, and the display will show 00.0. If other values are displayed, press the reset button repeatedly until the number shows 00.0.
2. Place the test sample in the center position of the sample tray, then rotate the handwheel clockwise to move the force lever down. When the force lever approaches the sample, press the peak hold button once. At this time, the peak hold indicator light will be on. Continue to slowly rotate the handwheel, and the display will show data, which will increase with the increase of the test force. When the sample particles are broken, the Z-value (strength value) of the force will be locked. Directly display the degree value.
When the sample strength is too high and the displayed value exceeds 500N, exit in a timely manner to prevent damage to the sensor. At this time, the locked value on the display is invalid.
4. When continuing the experiment, remove the residue from the sample tray, press the peak hold button once to release the peak hold, and the number will return to display as 00.0. At the same time, the peak hold indicator light will turn off, and press the reset button once until the number displays as 00.0.
Notes:
1. When not powered on, do not rotate the handwheel clockwise casually to apply force to the force rod in contact with the sample plate, in order to avoid damaging the sensor due to overload.
At the end of the experiment, attention should also be paid to keeping the force rod away from the sample tray and confirming that it is in a non stressed state before turning off the power.
Before measuring the strength of the sample, the sample tray should be cleaned, the sample tray and the strong column at the center of the tray should be placed, and then the reset button should be pressed. The internal data will be automatically restored until the number displays 00.0.
When the force exceeds 500N, the handwheel should be rotated counterclockwise in a timely manner to separate the force rod from the sample and end the experiment.
During the experiment, when rotating the handwheel clockwise, it is not allowed to suddenly rotate it counterclockwise to reduce the force (except for over range alarm), otherwise the instrument will misjudge that the sample has been broken and lock the invalid value.
During the experiment, when the particles have been subjected to force, the handwheel should be rotated as slowly as possible to minimize the rate of force increase, which can ensure measurement accuracy. For example, if the actual strength of a sample's particles is 50N, and the rate of force increase is relatively high, assuming 10N/s, since the A/D sampling frequency of this instrument is about 5 times/s, the instrument may measure around 48N. If it is reduced to 1N/s, the corresponding measured value will be around 49.8N.
