When using the single point calibration method, it is advisable to select a standard sample that is as close as possible to the sample content for calibration.
2. Regularly check the air circuit to prevent air blockage or leakage caused by aging, which may affect the analysis.
3. Users should regularly check for carbon deposits at the outlet of the cracking tube and in the subsequent gas path. If there is carbon deposition in the cracking tube, it can be removed by burning oxygen under high temperature conditions. If there is carbon deposition in the pipeline, it should be replaced with a new pipeline in a timely manner.
4. Regularly check the usage of the cracking tube. If the wall of the cracking tube becomes white and rough, it indicates that the service life of the quartz tube has expired and should be replaced immediately. Usually, for low content sample analysis, high requirements are placed on the cracking tube. The rough inner wall of the cracking tube can lead to a decrease in signal intensity, sensitivity, and resolution.
4. Strictly control the injection speed during the injection process to prevent carbon buildup in the quartz tube and contamination of the membrane dryer and reaction chamber.
5. Regularly replace the silicone pad of the injection port to prevent air leakage.
6. For the same set of curves, the selected attenuation level must be the same, and the pre amplification can be different. Changing the pre amplification does not affect the analysis results.
7. Generally, the shelf life of standard samples is one year and they should be stored in a low-temperature refrigerator to extend their service life.
