1、 No output voltage

  • Fault manifestation: There is no voltage output after power on, and the output terminal is 0V.

  • Common causes: blown fuse, burnt starting resistor, breakdown of switch tube, chip damage.

  • Repair method: Check the fuse and starting resistor, replace damaged switch tubes or chips. ‌

2、 Abnormal output voltage

  • Fault manifestation: Low output voltage, fluctuation, or inability to carry load.

  • Common causes: decreased capacity of filtering capacitor, damaged feedback resistor, and voltage regulation circuit malfunction.

  • Repair method: Replace the filter capacitor, feedback resistor, and check the voltage regulation circuit. ‌

3、 Switch tube burned out

  • Fault manifestation: After power on, the fuse melts and the temperature of the switch tube rises abnormally.

  • Common reasons: Damage to current detection resistor or feedback resistor leads to overcurrent protection failure, and RCD absorption circuit failure.

  • Repair method: Replace the switch tube and associated resistors and capacitors, and check the absorption circuit. ‌

4、 Capacitor failure

  • Fault manifestations: unstable output voltage, frequent device restarts.

  • Common reasons: Aging of electrolytic capacitors leads to a decrease in capacity or leakage.

  • Repair method: Replace the faulty capacitor, with a focus on inspecting the filtering capacitor and energy storage capacitor. ‌


5、 Other faults

  • Short circuit fault: may be caused byDamaged rectifier bridge orCaused by load short circuit, it needs to be checked after power outage.

  • Overheating protection: poor heat dissipation orAging of power devices may lead to automatic shutdown.
