What details should be paid attention to when using a laminating machine
Date: 2025-12-19Read: 0
As a key equipment for preparing samples of non-metallic soft thin sheet materials such as rubber, plastic, and leather, the punching machine plays an important role in industrial production and scientific research experiments. Its usage details cover multiple aspects such as pre operation preparation, parameter setting, operation process, fault handling, and maintenance. The following is a detailed explanation:
1、 Preparation before operation
1. Environmental inspection: Ensure that there is no accumulation of debris around the punching machine, the workbench is clean and dust-free, and avoid contaminating the test piece with metal debris or dust. At the same time, check the environmental temperature and humidity, maintain the temperature at 20-25 ℃ and humidity at 40% -60%, to prevent mold corrosion or material deformation caused by high temperature and humidity. In addition, it is necessary to confirm that the equipment is well grounded to prevent static electricity accumulation from causing safety hazards.
2. Material preparation: Cut the metal foil to a size slightly larger than the working area of the mold, ensuring that the edges are flat and free of burrs. Check the surface of the foil material for scratches, dents, or oxidation spots, and if necessary, wipe it with alcohol to remove oil stains. Prepare a tray for storing stamped pole pieces and indicate the polarity to prevent mixing of positive and negative pole pieces.
3. Equipment inspection: Confirm that the power supply voltage is stable (usually 380V three-phase electricity) and the air pressure meets the requirements (usually 0.4-0.6MPa). Check if the upper and lower molds match, if the gap between the molds is uniform (usually 5% -10% of the foil thickness), and if the fasteners are not loose. Apply specialized lubricating oil to the mold guide column, guide sleeve, and transmission components to reduce friction and wear.
2、 Parameter Setting and Debugging
1. Pressure regulation: Adjust the stamping pressure according to the thickness of the foil material. If the pressure is too high, it will shorten the mold life, and if it is too low, it will easily produce burrs. For example, the pressure for a 10 μ m thick copper foil is usually 0.3-0.5 tons.
2. Speed control: The stamping frequency needs to match the feeding speed, as too high a frequency may cause stacking. Suggest setting the initial speed to 10-20 times per minute and gradually increasing the speed to observe the effect.
3. Travel adjustment: Ensure that there is a 0.5-1mm margin left after the upper mold is pressed down to the bottom to avoid crushing the mold or damaging the foil material.
3、 Operating Procedure Regulations
1. Loading and feeding: Lay the metal foil flat on the feeding platform to ensure that the material is not wrinkled or tilted. When starting automatic feeding, monitor whether the suction cup or gripper firmly adheres to the foil material to prevent deviation or slipping.
2. Stamping monitoring: During the continuous stamping process, closely observe the forming situation of the pole pieces. Qualified pole pieces should have neat edges, no burrs, and precise hole positions. Inspect the polarizer every 30 minutes and measure the thickness consistency using a micrometer, with an error controlled within ± 0.02mm.
3. Material isolation: The stamped pole pieces should be handled gently to avoid bending or bumping. The positive and negative electrodes should be stored separately, and the tray should be clearly labeled to prevent mixing. Each batch of polarizer is accompanied by a process card, which records the mold number, stamping parameters, and inspection results.
4、 Common fault handling
1. Polar burrs: The reasons may be uneven mold gaps, blade wear, or excessive stamping speed. The processing methods include recalibrating the gap, grinding the cutting edge, and reducing the stamping frequency.
2. Dimensional deviation: It may be caused by mold wear, loose positioning pins, or inaccurate feeding step spacing. Mold accessories need to be replaced, positioning devices need to be tightened, and the feeding machine needs to be calibrated.
3. Stamping problem: It is often caused by a mismatch between the feeding speed and stamping frequency, or by electrostatic adsorption of the material. It can reduce the feeding speed and install an ion fan to eliminate static electricity.
5、 Key points of maintenance and upkeep
1. Daily maintenance: Clean the metal debris inside the mold and blow off the residue with compressed air. Add lubricating oil to the transmission gears, guide columns, and other parts daily. Turn off the power and gas source to avoid component aging caused by prolonged standby.
2. Regular maintenance: Check for air leaks in pneumatic components every week and tighten screws; Disassemble the mold for deep cleaning every month and grind the cutting edge with a diamond grinding wheel; Calibrate pressure sensors and displacement sensors quarterly to ensure accurate parameters.
3. Long term shutdown treatment: Spray rust inhibitor on the surface of the mold and cover it with a dust cover to protect the equipment from dust pollution.
The efficient operation of the punching machine relies on meticulous pre operation preparation, precise parameter settings, standardized operating procedures, timely fault handling, and system maintenance. Following the above usage details can not only improve the quality of stamping and production efficiency, but also effectively extend the service life of equipment and ensure production safety.
