What are the reasons that affect the accuracy of automotive component tensile testing machines?
Date: 2019-10-26Read: 1
Automotive component tensile testing machineIt is composed of oil cylinders, motors, button boxes, columns, screws, etc., each of which has its own function. The important accessories include button boxes, motors, oil cylinder pistons, etc., but there are also some factors that affect their accuracy. Next, following in the footsteps of our technical personnel, let's take a look at the factors that affect the accuracy of the automotive component tensile testing machine and the maintenance methods for this equipment!

Factors affecting the accuracy of automotive component tensile testing machines
1. Measurement and control system (divided into software system and hardware system): Currently, most testing machines on the market use 8-bit microcontroller control for their measurement and control systems, which have low sampling rates and poor anti-interference capabilities. Additionally, there is the AD converter. If the bit count or resolution of the AD converter is low, the measurement results may not be accurate.
2. Sensor of the tensile testing machine for automobile parts: The strength of the sensor determines the stability of the testing machine. At present, most manufacturers use S-type sensors for small force values and spoke sensors for large force values. The sensor is generally of resistance strain gauge type inside. If the accuracy of the strain gauge is not high/the aging resistance of the adhesive used to fix the strain gauge is poor/the sensor material is poor, the accuracy and service life of the sensor will be affected.
3. The transmission system of automotive component tensile testing machine: Currently, some testing machines on the market use reducers and some use ordinary belts.
The main drawbacks of these two transmission methods are that the former requires regular lubrication; The latter cannot guarantee the synchronization of the transmission and affect the test results.
4. The component that drives the movement of the sensor: ball screw, because if there is a gap in the screw, the future test data will directly affect the large deformation and elongation after fracture of the test.
At present, some of the tension testing machines for automotive components on the market use T-shaped ordinary screws, which result in large clearances and high friction, leading to a short service life.
The above is the relevant knowledge shared by our technical personnel on the accuracy of automotive component tensile testing machines, hoping to be helpful to everyone. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact our online customer service and we will reply to you promptly.
