What should be noted when using a pressure transmitter
Date: 2025-12-15Read: 1

When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, the temperature should not exceed the limit temperature at which the pressure transmitter is used. If the temperature exceeds the limit temperature at which the transmitter is used, a heat dissipation device must be used.

When measuring steam or other high-temperature media, a heat pipe should be used to connect the transmitter and pipeline together, and the pressure on the pipeline should be transmitted to the transformer. When the measured medium is water vapor, appropriate injection should be made into the heat dissipation tube

Measure the amount of water to prevent overheated steam from directly contacting the transmitter and damaging the sensor.

The measured medium is not allowed to freeze, otherwise it will damage the isolation diaphragm of the sensor element and cause damage to the pressure transmitter. If necessary, temperature protection should be applied to the transmitter to prevent freezing.

Do not apply voltage higher than 36V to the transmitter, as it may cause damage to the transmitter

Do not touch the diaphragm with hard objects, which may cause damage to the isolation diaphragm.

During the process of pressure transmission, the following points should be noted:

1. The pipeline must be kept unobstructed, as sediment in the pipeline may pop out and damage the sensor diaphragm.

2. Do not leak air at the connection between the pressure transmitter and the heat dissipation pipe.

3. Before starting to use the pressure transmitter, if the valve is closed, the valve should be opened very carefully and slowly to avoid direct impact of the measured medium on the sensor diaphragm, which may damage the sensor diaphragm
