Simple analysis on how to use a dual channel atmospheric sampler
Date: 2025-05-30Read: 0
The usage method of the dual channel atmospheric sampler is as follows:
1、 Preparation before use
Placing the instrument: Place the instrument in a dry, sun proof place, ensuring stability or on a triangular support.
Install dryer: Fill each dryer with color changing silicone gel with sufficient drying capacity, accounting for about three-quarters of the dryer volume, tighten it to prevent air leakage, and place it in the dryer slot.
Prepare absorption bottle: According to the relevant sampling standards, fill the absorption bottle with a certain amount of absorption solution and place it on the absorption bottle rack.
Check power supply: Confirm that the power supply connection is correct. The instrument should be charged before use to avoid inaccurate sampling or shutdown due to insufficient voltage during the sampling process.
2、 Connect devices
Connect the sampling pipeline: Connect the sampling pipeline to each sampling head according to the equipment connection diagram. Taking the RC-D2100 intelligent dual channel atmospheric sampler as an example, when connecting, the hose needs to be connected to the drying bottle, and the other end of the drying bottle needs to be connected to the absorption bottle. After injecting the absorption solution, connect the hose to the drying bottle.
Adjust the tripod: After the connection is completed, adjust the height and level of the tripod, and ensure that the instrument remains horizontal through the level gauge.
3、 Set parameters
Power on self-test: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, and the sampler enters self-test mode, displaying information such as the sampler model, name, number, version number, etc.
Entering the main operation interface: After the self-test is completed, the sampler automatically enters the sampling main operation interface.
Parameter settings: Select the "Settings" option in the main menu to enter the settings interface, where you can set parameters such as air pressure, backlight, clock, contrast, etc. For example, in the air pressure setting interface, the "input" or "measurement" status can be selected; In the clock settings interface, the current date and time can be changed.
Sampling settings: Select the "Sampling" option in the main menu to enter the sampling settings interface. You can choose the sampling channel and set the number, as well as set parameters such as sampling time, interval, and frequency. The sampling mode is divided into two types: "non interval sampling" and "interval sampling", which can be selected according to actual needs.
4、 Start sampling
Zeroing: Zeroing should be performed before starting sampling, and after zeroing is completed, return to the sampling settings interface.
Start sampling: After setting up, click the start button and the instrument will start sampling. You can choose immediate sampling, timed sampling, quantitative sampling, or interval sampling according to your needs.
5、 Sampling completion and data processing
End Sampling: After sampling is complete, click the End button to close the sampler.
Data export: To export data, insert a USB flash drive into the instrument's USB port, click the data export button in sequence, and export the data.
Data query: In the data query interface, sampling data and power failure data can be queried, and information such as sampling time and flow rate can be viewed.
6、 Post use maintenance
Cleaning equipment: Clean the impactor and collection board with neutral detergent and warm water, and use ultrasonic cleaning to remove blockages from the spray holes. After cleaning, wipe dry or absorb with a lint free tissue.
Check the components: Check the spray holes at all levels. If there is any blockage, clean the spray holes with a hair dryer or a portable Freon gun, or gently remove them with a spare fine needle. Do not use hard objects to handle them to ensure the accuracy of the spray holes.
Storage of instruments: Store the instruments in a ventilated and dry place. If they are not used for more than 3 months, they should be recharged to ensure the battery life.
