1Pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generatorInstallation phase
Site selection and preparation
Venue requirements: Choose a dry, well ventilated environment free from corrosive gases and dust, and avoid direct sunlight and rain.
Space requirement: At least 1 meter of space should be left around the equipment for easy operation and maintenance.
Basic requirements: The installation foundation should be flat, sturdy, vibration free, and able to withstand the weight and vibration of the equipment.
Equipment positioning and fixation
Place the pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator in the designated location to ensure that the equipment is stable and secure.
Use a spirit level to check if the equipment is level and adjust it if necessary.
Power and gas source connection
Power connection: Connect the power cord to the power interface of the pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator to ensure stable and reliable power supply. Strictly configure the power supply according to the voltage and frequency indicated on the nitrogen production equipment nameplate, with voltage fluctuations not exceeding ± 10% of the rated voltage. The cross-sectional area of the power supply incoming wire should be selected according to the rated capacity, and reliable grounding protection measures should be taken.
Gas source connection: Connect the gas source pipeline to the inlet of the pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generator, ensuring a secure connection and avoiding gas leakage. The air inlet should be equipped with a filter to prevent dust, impurities, etc. from entering the equipment.
Installation of drainage and sewage pipelines
The drainage pipeline should comply with national standards to avoid being too long or too thin, so as not to affect the normal drainage of equipment.
The drainage pipeline should be separated from the sewage pipeline to avoid environmental pollution caused by sewage and wastewater.
Silencer installation
Silencers can be installed indoors or outdoors. When the air compressor and nitrogen production device are in the same room, the muffler should be installed outdoors to avoid affecting nitrogen production.
If the muffler is installed outdoors, it should have rainproof facilities and its placement height should not be higher than the exhaust outlet, otherwise the pipeline sewage cannot be discharged, which can easily cause sewage backflow.
2、 Operation phase
Pre-operation preparation
Equipment inspection: Confirm that the power, gas, and water sources are normal, the adsorption tower, pipelines, and valves are leak free, and the instruments and equipment are calibrated and in good condition.
Environmental inspection: The operating environment is well ventilated, free of flammable and explosive materials, and there is no accumulation of debris around the equipment.
Lubrication and protection: Check the lubrication system to ensure that the lubricating oil level is normal; Operators should wear labor protection equipment that meets national safety standards.
Start and Run
Start the air compressor: Turn on the power, start the air compressor, supply air to the air buffer tank, and observe that the "air pressure gauge" reaches 0.6 MPa or above.
Start the nitrogen generator: Click the start button of the nitrogen generator, and the pressure of the adsorption tower starts to rise.
Adjust parameters: Adjust the "outlet pressure reducing valve". When the pressure reaches 0.4 MPa or above, adjust the "sampling flowmeter" to the appropriate value. Slowly open the 'outlet control valve' and adjust the flow meter reading to the desired flow rate.
runtime monitoring
Parameter monitoring: closely monitor parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, purity, etc. to ensure that the equipment operates within normal range.
Status check: Observe the operating status of the equipment to ensure that there are no abnormal vibrations, noise, or leaks.
Shutdown operation
Close valves: Close all valves at the outlet and click the "Stop" button.
Turn off the air compressor: Stop the operation of the air compressor and turn off the air compressor.
Disconnect power supply: Disconnect the main power supply, manually drain the air buffer tank and filter (it is recommended to drain water every 10 hours).
3、 Precautions
Safety Specifications
Electrical safety: Electrical equipment must comply with relevant national electrical safety standards, with a grounding resistance of no more than 4 Ω and an insulation resistance of no less than 2M Ω (normal environment).
Pressure safety: Multiple pressure protection measures are set up, such as safety valves (with an opening pressure of 1.1-1.15 times the working pressure), equipped with pressure monitoring instruments, and real-time display of system pressure.
Operating procedures: Strictly follow the operating procedures and do not change the operating steps or parameters without authorization.
Emergency stop: In case of an emergency, immediately use the emergency stop device to stop the operation of the equipment.
Prohibited operation: During equipment maintenance, repair, or cleaning, operators are prohibited from entering the interior of the equipment or coming into contact with hazardous areas.
Maintenance and Care
Regular inspection: Regularly test equipment parameters such as pressure, temperature, and flow rate to check instrument accuracy, adsorbent adsorption effect, and electrical system.
Replace adsorbent: Regularly inspect the molecular sieve adsorbent and replace it promptly if any damage or failure is found.
Cleaning and lubrication: Regularly clean the air filter to keep the air clean; Clean, lubricate, and inspect the equipment, and promptly address any issues found.
Fault handling
Common faults: such as increased equipment vibration or abnormal noise, there may be mechanical failures or bearing wear; Fluctuations in instrument readings or abnormal displays may be due to sensor malfunctions or unstable equipment operation; Leakage during the regeneration process of the adsorbent may be due to damage to the adsorbent layer or loose pipeline connections.
Pressure swing adsorption nitrogen generatorHandling measures: When an abnormal situation is discovered, the operator should immediately stop the operation, take corresponding measures, and report to the superior or safety management department.
