1Large industrial nitrogen generatorApplication field
Metal processing industry
Protective atmosphere: During metal processing, some metal materials are sensitive to oxygen and moisture, and are prone to oxidation and corrosion. Large industrial nitrogen generators can produce high-purity nitrogen gas, which is used as a protective atmosphere to remove oxygen and moisture, prevent metal material oxidation and quality loss.
Welding protection: During metal welding, nitrogen can be used as a protective gas to prevent the welding area from being affected by oxygen and moisture in the air. The nitrogen generator provides high-purity nitrogen gas, establishes an inert atmosphere, protects welding joints, and improves welding quality and strength.
Metal quenching: During the metal quenching process, the nitrogen gas provided by the nitrogen generator can quickly cool the metal, achieve rapid quenching effect, and improve the strength and hardness of the metal.
Metal powder metallurgy: In the process of metal powder metallurgy, a nitrogen generator provides high-purity nitrogen gas as a protective atmosphere to prevent the reaction between metal powder and oxygen in the air, reduce oxidation and impurity production, and improve product quality and performance.
Metal spraying: The nitrogen generator provides dry nitrogen gas for atmosphere control and drying during the spraying process, ensuring coating quality and adhesion.
Metal heating treatment: In metal heating treatment, nitrogen gas provided by a nitrogen generator can be used as a protective gas to reduce the contact between metal materials and oxygen in the air, prevent oxidation and deterioration, and ensure the heating treatment effect.
Metal evaporation coating: During the metal evaporation coating process, the nitrogen generator provides high-purity nitrogen gas as a protective gas to reduce the contact between metal materials and oxygen and water vapor in the air, prevent oxidation and impurities, and ensure the quality and adhesion of the film.
laser industry
Laser cutting: During the laser cutting process, oxygen can easily cause oxidation and yellowing of the cutting surface, affecting cutting accuracy and surface quality. The nitrogen generator removes oxygen from the air through physical methods, producing high-purity nitrogen gas, effectively diluting the oxygen in the cutting area, preventing oxidation of the cutting surface, and improving cutting quality. Meanwhile, nitrogen can also blow away slag, clean the cutting surface, reduce cutting resistance, and improve cutting speed.
Laser welding: In laser welding, nitrogen can be used as a protective gas to prevent oxidation of the welding area and improve welding quality.
2、 Operating standards
Power-on operation
First, turn on the power supply of the air compressor. When the pressure of the compressed air source reaches 0.7MPa, open the main inlet shut-off valve of the nitrogen generator and adjust the pressure of the pressure reducing valve at the working air source of the pneumatic valve to 0.4-0.5MPa.
Turn on the power switch of the nitrogen generator on the PLC main station control cabinet clockwise, set the upper limit of oxygen content on the oxygen analyzer in the nitrogen generator control cabinet, and judge whether the two adsorption towers are switching normally based on the pressure changes of the two adsorption towers.
Turn on the power of the oxygen analyzer, adjust the sampling pressure reducing valve to adjust the pressure to 0.3MPa, adjust the sampling flow regulating valve, pay attention to the sampling gas volume should not be too large, and test the nitrogen purity.
Adjust the purity and flow rate of nitrogen by adjusting the opening of the nitrogen outlet valve, slowly open the vent outlet shut-off valve, and adjust the flow rate to 1/2 of the rated flow rate. When the nitrogen purity meets the requirements, slowly open the pure gas outlet shut-off valve, adjust the flow rate to the required flow rate, close the vent outlet shut-off valve, and the equipment can be put into use after normal operation.
Shutdown operation
Close the nitrogen outlet valve and sampling valve.
Close the compressed air inlet valve.
Turn off the power of the air compressor.
routine maintenance
Air compressor: Regularly check whether the drain outlet of the air compressor storage tank is blocked and whether the heat dissipation hole is obstructed; The drain valve of the gas storage tank should be opened once a day to remove oil and water, and opened every four hours in areas with high humidity; Check the lubricating oil level once a day; The air filter takes about 150 days to clean or replace (the filter element is a consumable), but it may be adjusted according to different environments; Check the tightness of the belt and screws in various parts once a month; Please replace the lubricating oil with new oil after the initial 100 hours of operation, and replace it every 1000 hours thereafter (if the operating environment is poor, the oil should be replaced every 500 hours); Please clean each part of the machine once a year.
Filter: Regularly replace the filter element according to its usage condition. If the pressure difference of the filter is found to be too large, please replace the filter element in a timely manner. Manual drain ball valve usually discharges once every 4 hours; Check the automatic electronic drain once a day; Check the pressure gauge once a day.
Cold drying machine: air-cooled cold drying machine regularly blows and cleans the drain outlet; Regularly clean the water condenser of the water-cooled dryer to prevent water scale deposition and blockage.
Adsorption tower group: When the equipment is running, the alarm indicator light of the adsorption tower should be checked. If there is an alarm, carbon molecular sieve should be added in a timely manner.
Nitrogen analyzer: The oxygen electrode should be replaced every 6 months.
Flow meter: Check the nitrogen flow meter daily and adjust it correctly if there are any errors.
Complete pipeline: The nitrogen pipeline should be leak free and checked every three months.
Electrical system: Regularly check whether each wiring head is disconnected or loose. If there is, it should be reconnected or tightened in a timely manner, but it must be done in a power-off state; The electrical box should be regularly cleaned of dust (pay attention to cutting off the power first) and the plugs on the rear panel should be checked for good condition, otherwise they should be repaired in a timely manner.
Safety precautions
Before entering the nitrogen generator room, the door must be opened for natural ventilation for 5 minutes.
Two people must be present to inspect the nitrogen generator. In case of nitrogen leakage, a respirator must be worn before entering the room for shutdown and maintenance.
It is strictly prohibited to dismantle and repair the nitrogen system if the pressure inside has not been fully discharged.
The nitrogen generator and air compressor must be completely shut down before refueling operations can be carried out.
In case of suffocation of personnel in the nitrogen generator room, use self rescue devices to rescue them in a timely manner and report to the dispatch room.
Operators must be proficient in using self rescue equipment.
