-Conference Introduction-
The 12th Chinese Medical Association Ophthalmology and Visual Science Research Conference (CCRVO), hosted by the Chinese Medical Association and the Ophthalmology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, will be held in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province from June 13-16, 2024. At that time, clinical ophthalmologists and visual researchers from around the world and across the country will gather for this grand event, focusing on the current hot topics and research progress in clinical, basic research, and clinical translation of ophthalmology and visual science, and conducting in-depth discussions and extensive exchanges.
Represented by Grobel Biotechnology CompanyOptoDrum Small Animal Visual Ability Testing SystemandPhotorefresh small animal infrared refractometerAppear at this conference. We are honored to invite Dr. Thomas M ü nch, CEO of STRA-TECH from Germany, to be present at the event.
-Special Guests-
Dr.Thomas Münch
Founder and Owner of STRIA.TECH
Director of Research and Development
The current head of the research group at the Institute of Ophthalmology and the Center for Integrated Neuroscience at the University of T ü bingen in Germany. He studied biology and mathematics at the University of Karlsruhe and at the University of California, California
Berkeley collaborated with Frank Werblin to complete a PhD in neuroscience, and later conducted postdoctoral research with Botond Roska at the Friedrich Michel Institute in Basel. He is an expert in the field of visual research, initially initiating and supervising the development of the OptoDrum system for laboratory research needs. As a respected member of the visual research field, Dr. Thomas M ü nch is well aware of the current and future needs of users in this field.
-Exhibition site-

Brought by Dr. ThomasOptoDrum Small Animal Visual Ability Testing System,Photorefresh small animal infrared refractometerHighly valued on site. Many users and researchers came to the booth to exchange ideas, discuss technical details and application prospects. Optodurum and Photorefractor have become ideal tools for myopia research and other fields due to their excellent small animal visual measurement performance, attracting a lot of attention and praise.
-Product Display-
OptoDrum Small Animal Visual Ability Testing System
The detection principle based on visual reflex does not require training of animals. The software automatically adjusts the stimulus pattern until the animal can no longer see the grating stripes, thereby measuring the animal's visual sensitivity.
Photorefresh small animal infrared refractometer
Used for rapid non-invasive measurement of refractive error in small animal eyeballs such as mice and guinea pigs. This device adopts the specialized technology of Professor Frank Schaeffel from the University of T ü bingen in Germany, a world-renowned expert in eye disease research.
Keratometer small animal corneal curvature measuring instrument
Developed by Professor Frank Schaeffel from Germany, this method automatically measures the corneal curvature radius of conscious small animals by analyzing the reflection points of eight infrared LEDs on the corneal surface.
