SonoShield Defender utilizes a focused sound field to create a neuroprotective environment around implanted electrodes, addressing these challenges at their root.

Low intensity pulsed ultrasound stimulation (LIPUS) increased the migration speed of microglia by 128%, expanded the area by 109%, and reduced activation by 17% in the first week of treatment, significantly reducing the coverage of microglia on microelectrodes and scar formation of astrocytes, allowing the electrodes to work stably for a long time.
