Education Edition Full Field Strain Measurement System(EduDIC)

EduDIC system quasi-static tensile test
It is a digital image correlation measurement system (DIC) designed as an entry-level, low-cost academic training tool to assist in teaching experimental solid mechanics and material testing. An easy-to-use system enables academic teachers and students to engage in opticsDIC measurement, used for research, seminars, and laboratory exercises. It fully utilizes the potential of Istra4D software, unrestricted use of modular functions, allowing unrestricted measurement data to be quickly and easily obtained, and associated with high accuracy and precision.
EduDIC is a complete and well-equipped measurement system, equipped with a laptop and minimal hardware components, making setup fast and easy.

SettingsEduDIC system
The system is in the main/Running in trigger mode is a special configuration that does not require connection to an external DAQ controller. The cameras only need to be connected to each other (for triggering) and a laptop (for data and power)-That's it. The measurement performance of EduDIC system is utilized using USB3 Vision technology.
Up to two units can be used2.3Mpx (1920 x 1200 px) CMOS cameras are capable of operating at a maximum frame rate of 166Hz, full resolution, and unlimited recording capacity.
EduDIC is a flexible and adjustable measurement system, where the camera can be freely aligned and moved on the mounting pole. Therefore, users can use different stereo angles and/or baseline distances to improve in-plane or out of plane accuracy.
The system includes a standard A 25mm fixed focal length lens has a maximum standard field of view (FoV) of 200mm (H) x 125mm (V) at a distance to the object (DtoO).

EduDIC is used for testing C-type specimens

EduDIC is used forQuasi static three-point bending test
