The samples are shredded between sharp grinding discs and collected in easily accessible plastic sample cups. The design of the grinding disc is reasonable, with fast grinding, low heating, and no loss of moisture. The usual grinding amount is 5-50 grams. The grain moisture detection grinding amount is 10-15 grams.

The fineness of sample grinding depends on the type of grinding disc and the distance between grinding discs. The spacing between the grinding discs of the grinding mill can be adjusted in six levels.
There are three types of grinding discs that meet different requirements.
Type I - Standard Type
Used for measuring moisture content
Type II - Fine Type
Used for measuring particle size index PSI or grinding finely ground samples.
Type III - Coarse Type
Used for measuring oats and other high moisture samples
