The Institute of Agricultural Products Processing, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, was established in December 2003 and is a public welfare research institution in the field of agricultural product processing in China.

The Agricultural Products Processing Research Institute has four major disciplines: processing engineering, storage, preservation and logistics, quality and safety, and nutrition and health. It also has eight research directions: grain and oil processing, meat processing, fruit and vegetable processing, pest control during processing, chemical hazard control during processing, traditional food and equipment, nutrition and health, and biomanufacturing and food engineering.
