In today's rapidly developing urban rail transit, the safety maintenance of track beams is crucial. Shenzhen Yingfeiming Technology Co., Ltd. has provided efficient and accurate solutions for rail beam safety inspections with new drone technology, achieving "non-stop" rail beam safety.
1、 Project Background
With the continuous expansion of urban rail transit network, the safety of track beams, as the key structure carrying train operation, is directly related to the stable operation of the entire rail transit system. The traditional manual inspection method is not only inefficient and costly, but also has many limitations when facing complex environments and nighttime operations. Therefore, it is imperative to introduce advanced intelligent inspection technology.

2、 Solution
Shenzhen Yingfeiming Technology takes DJI Airport 3 as the core, and combines Matrice 4D/4TD drones with DJI Sikong 2 cloud platform to create an intelligent inspection system.
1. High performance hardware combination: DJI Airport has a protection level of IP56, compatible with Matrice 4D/4TD unmanned aerial vehicle protection of IP55, and can withstand environments ranging from -30 ℃ to 50 ℃. Matrice 4D is equipped with multiple lenses to achieve high-precision mapping; Matrice 4TD adds thermal imaging and infrared fill light to meet nighttime inspections. The drone can withstand wind speeds of 12 meters per second, with a range of 32 minutes and a 37% increase in operating time.
2. Intelligent management and deployment: DJI Sikong 2 cloud platform supports route planning, remote control, and real-time data transmission to ensure data security. DJI Airport 3 supports vehicle mounted mobile deployment, with a 10 second high-speed takeoff and D-RTK 3 relay station. The image transmission can reach up to 25 kilometers, making it suitable for complex urban environments.

3、 Application effect
Multi directional inspection day and night: guarding the track beam for more details
East side inspection of track beam
The drone departed from DJI Airport 3 and flew smoothly along the east side of the track beam, initiating a "carpet style" inspection. With the high-precision camera installed, the shooting accuracy can reach millimeter level, accurately capturing subtle cracks on the surface of concrete, the degree of steel corrosion, and signs of loose connections. High definition images are transmitted in real-time, allowing ground staff to clearly grasp every detail on the east side and promptly identify potential hazards.

Take a photo inspection above the inclined east side of the track beam
The drone rises diagonally above the east side and adjusts the camera angle flexibly, not only capturing the side of the beam, but also presenting the bottom condition clearly. The "blind spots" at the bottom of the beam that are difficult to reach in traditional inspections are exposed under the detection of drones, effectively filling the inspection gaps.

Take a photo inspection directly above the track beam
The drone takes a vertical downward view from directly above the track beam, equipped with a high-definition camera and intelligent image recognition technology to comprehensively capture subtle hidden dangers such as corrosion and loose bolts on the surface of the beam, and automatically mark abnormal areas to generate detailed inspection reports. This mode is not limited by terrain and space, efficient and safe, and builds a solid defense line for the stable operation of rail transit facilities.

Take a photo of the inspection above the inclined west side of the track beam
The inspection process on the west side is similar to that on the east side. The drone adjusts the angle to fully cover the west side and bottom, ensuring that every detail on the west side of the track beam is included in the inspection scope.
