The distillation analyzer adopts an intuitive and easy-to-use touch screen or computer control interface, and users only need to complete various settings and operations through simple operations, without the need for professional training to get started. The specially customized serpentine condenser tube design effectively increases the condensation area, improves condensation efficiency, and shortens distillation time. At the same time, the instrument adopts efficient heating and condensation systems as well as intelligent energy management strategies, achieving the goal of energy conservation and consumption reduction.
Suitable for various types of sample analysis, such as gasoline, alcohol solutions, etc. It can be adjusted and optimized according to different experimental needs to meet diverse research and application requirements. The automation system will record the temperature and collected liquid volume at each stage of the distillation process, and can calculate the boiling point range and relative content of different components in the sample based on the collected data. The results are usually output in the form of charts or reports, which is convenient for users to conduct further analysis and research.
The basic working principle of distillation analyzer:
1. Separation based on boiling point differences: Any pure substance has a fixed boiling point, while the boiling points of each component in the mixture are different. When heating the sample, components with lower boiling points (light components) will preferentially reach their boiling points and vaporize into steam; The components with higher boiling points (heavy components) remain in the original system or vaporize at higher temperatures.
2. Heating and vaporization process: Load a quantitative sample into a standard distillation flask, and slowly heat the flask with a controllable heat source to gradually increase the temperature inside the flask. When the temperature reaches the boiling point of the lightest component in the mixture, the component begins to vaporize, and the generated steam rises along the neck of the flask; As heating continues, light components continue to vaporize and enter the condensation system; The heavy components that have not reached the boiling point remain in liquid form in the flask.
3. Steam condensation stage: The rising steam enters the condenser tube, and circulating cooling water is passed outside the condenser tube. The low-temperature cooling water exchanges heat with the high-temperature steam, and the steam quickly cools down to below the boiling point, liquefying back into liquid (i.e. "fraction"). The liquid fraction flows down the inner wall of the condenser tube and enters the collection container through a conduit.
4. Distillate collection and monitoring: The collection container measures the volume (or mass) of the distillate in real time, while the thermometer continuously records the steam temperature at the corresponding time, forming a corresponding relationship of "temperature distillate volume". By analyzing these data, key characteristic parameters of the mixture can be obtained, such as distillation range, purity, etc.
