Operating Procedures for EFP210 Fully Automatic Open Flash Point and Ignition Point Tester
1Test procedure
1.Cool the bath temperature to below 40 degrees Celsius;
2.Prepare oil sample: Pour the oil into the engraved line of the sample cup, and then place the sample cup on the heating furnace;
3.Set experimental preparation parameters, such as tester name, sample number, expected flash point, and expected flash point;
4.Click the "Run" button to enter the test interface, and then click the "Start Test" button to start testing the instrument;
5.Automatically stop the test until the flash point is detected or the safe temperature is exceeded.
IIPrecautions
1.When preparing an oil sample, if the flash point value of the oil sample is relatively high, the oil sample will expand at high temperatures, which will cause a high mark on the liquid level of the oil sample at high temperatures, which may be immersed in the flash point sensor (ionization ring), ultimately leading to the failure or false alarm of the flash point; Therefore, in this situation, when pouring oil, the oil sample can be poured less and the liquid level should be slightly lower than the marking line;
2.When installing the temperature sensor, the distance between the bottom of the temperature sensor and the bottom of the oil cup should be kept at around 3mm;
3.The height of the flash point sensor (ionization ring) should be about 3mm higher than the engraved line on the oil cup, but it must be ensured that the oil surface cannot be immersed in the flash point sensor (ionization ring) during the test, otherwise it will cause false alarms or failure to report the flash point;
4.Before the experiment, the flash point sensor (ionization ring) should be wiped clean;
5.After the test is completed, do not immediately take the sample cup to prevent injury caused by collision with the fire extinguishing cover. Wait until the temperature of the oil sample drops slightly below 60 degrees before taking the sample cup.
