The usage method of RFQC01 air quality detector includes equipment placement, startup initialization, network configuration, data reading, screen operation, mode setting, installation suggestions, and maintenance points, as follows:
Equipment placement: Place the air quality detector in a suitable location, maintain air circulation around the equipment, and avoid approaching pollution sources or air vents.
Power on initialization: After turning on the power, wait for the device initialization to complete. When using it for the first time, the formaldehyde sensor needs to be stabilized for a period of time. Please be patient and wait until the value stabilizes before using it.
Networking configuration:
Confirm that the phone is connected to Wi Fi and that the phone and device are within the same router coverage range.
Open the app and select the device to configure Wi Fi. Follow the configuration steps in the manual to configure the network, or scan the QR code on the instrument body to find the configuration method.
Data reading:
The system defaults to refreshing data every five minutes, which can be triggered by short pressing the detection dock button or sliding down the app screen. The sensor requires a brief stabilization time, it is recommended to read the data after it has stabilized.
The back and right sides of the detection box each have an air inlet, with the back measuring PM2.5 and the right side measuring formaldehyde. The fluid dynamics design of the air duct allows for independent detection of formaldehyde and PM2.5 without interference. The base also has two air inlets on the back and left side to ensure more accurate measurement of temperature and humidity.
The screen will provide reasonable air improvement suggestions through visual display icons based on the currently detected air quality parameter data, reminding whether windows can be opened and whether humidification or dehumidification is necessary. If the icon turns red, it indicates poor air quality and measures should be taken to purify the air.
Screen operation:
Long press the test base button for 3 seconds to turn off the screen, and short press the test base button to light up the screen.
If you want to see updated values, you can press the button on the base or pull down the app, which will trigger sensor detection and upload values.
Mode setting:
When using the testing box alone, it will default to energy-saving mode at the factory and automatically update data every hour. If users want to update more frequently, they can set the app to normal mode and automatically refresh data every 20 minutes.
When using the combination of "detection box+detection base", the updated data is automatically read every 5 minutes without the need for user settings.
Installation suggestion:
There may be a back panel or bracket inside the packaging box of the air quality detector. With a backboard, wall or ceiling installation can be carried out, while with a bracket, it can be placed on the desktop and chosen according to personal preferences.
If there is a high flow of people indoors or there are mischievous children, it is recommended to install the air quality monitor by hanging it on the wall or ceiling to avoid more people playing with it. The instrument is equipped with precision sensors, and frequent collisions may result in inaccurate monitoring parameters or even damage.
Maintenance points:
Regularly clean the detector to avoid dust, water vapor, and other factors affecting the normal operation of the sensor.
According to the requirements of the product manual, regularly calibrate the sensor to ensure the accuracy of the detection data.
When the detector indicates low battery or malfunctions, it should be charged or the after-sales service should be contacted for repair in a timely manner.
