1、 Project Background

The core industries of Guangdong Electric Power Group involve various forms such as coal-fired power, hydropower, natural gas power generation, wind power, nuclear power, etc. Therefore, flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful gases may be generated in industrial production and manufacturing.

We know that if flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful gases leak, the potential hazards are very significant. Therefore, real-time online gas monitoring has become one of the important measures to ensure the safety of enterprise production in the production and manufacturing work.

Guangdong Electric Power Group attaches great importance to safety production and has installed the SGA-500C series online wireless gas detector from Shenzhen Guoan to monitor target gases in real time due to the flammability and explosiveness involved,

2、 Project requirements

The main flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful gases produced by Guangdong Electric Group in production and manufacturing include combustible gases, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen chloride, sulfur hexafluoride, and so on.

Due to the particularity of the monitoring location, the monitoring site is separated from the control center by the sea, and the distance between the monitoring point and the control center is relatively far, reaching more than 50 kilometers. Therefore, it is not possible to use wired gas monitoring systems to monitor the target gas. Therefore, it is explicitly required to use wireless gas detectors for this gas monitoring project.

3、 Solution

According to the monitoring requirements of the project, Shenzhen Guoan has professionally recommended wireless GPRS transmission gas detectors for users. Wireless gas detectors do not require wiring for transmission, and the transmission distance can also be customized according to relevant requirements.

3.1 Wireless gas detector

The Shenzhen Guoan SGA-500C series wireless gas detector uses wireless GPRS transmission according to project requirements. The instrument can be directly powered by 24V, monitor the concentration of the target gas in real time, automatically transmit the detection value, and when the gas concentration exceeds the standard, transmit the detection value to the relevant platform and issue an alarm. Remind relevant personnel to handle emergency situations.

4、 Project schematic diagram

Install the Shenzhen Guoan SGA-500C series wireless gas detector at the gas monitoring site, and transmit the detection values wirelessly to the SGA-60 wireless management device. The wireless management device processes the detection data and transmits it to the corresponding software platform. The software platform can display, store, and generate curves for the detection data. If the monitored gas concentration exceeds the standard, it will be linked and alarmed through corresponding instructions.
