Testing process:

After powering on the instrument, it stayed on the Windows desktop and upon inspection, it was found that there were no network distribution programs or calibration files.

Next, first, backup the original system. Then take measures to restore the system, and the instrument prompts Phaselock loss.

Because the instrument still cannot boot up and display normally after reinstalling the system, the next step is to disassemble and inspect whether there are any burnt parts inside. After dismantling and testing, it was found that the microwave switch of the instrument was damaged, and the internal micro components were burnt with large signals, causing bubbles and resulting in low output power at port 1, while port 2 was normal. It is preliminarily judged that the switch is faulty.

Maintenance measures:

After discovering the current fault issue, replacement and repair measures were taken: replacing the damaged micro components of the microwave switch, adjusting the instrument parameters of the whole machine, and the startup test still did not pass. Due to severe internal burning damage of the instrument, replacing the micro components still cannot solve the problem. As the switch components are severely burned and cannot be repaired, the microwave switch must be replaced as a whole. After replacing the microwave switch, the entire machine was adjusted and the testing instrument was turned on and tested normally.
