The operating techniques for hydrogen gas detectors are as follows:
1、 Power on and self-test
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to start the device, and the device will automatically enter the self-test process, during which the sensors, alarm functions, and display screen will be checked for normal operation.
Observe the self-test results: If the self-test passes, the device enters the main interface; If an ERR code appears, it is necessary to check whether the appearance of the instrument is damaged, whether the sensor window is blocked, or contact after-sales maintenance.
2、 Environmental adaptation and safety preparation of hydrogen detector
1. Ventilation requirements: Before starting work, turn on the ventilation system in the area and maintain an air flow rate of 0.3-0.5m/s to ensure timely diffusion of hydrogen gas.
2. Safety distance: Open flames, sources of static electricity, and storage of organic solvents are prohibited within the detection area to avoid causing explosions.
3. Temperature control: The working environment temperature is strictly controlled within -40 ℃~+70 ℃. If it exceeds the range, the equipment will automatically lock for protection.
3、 Intelligent calibration and zero point adjustment
1. Zero point calibration:
In a pure nitrogen environment, select the "zero calibration" function through the directional keys to complete the benchmark setting.
Some models support zero point automatic tracking to reduce human operation errors.
2. Concentration calibration:
Automatic identification and prevention of concentration calibration errors to avoid data bias caused by human factors.
Regular calibration, using corresponding standard gases for zero point calibration and span calibration, ensuring accuracy of ≤± 2% F.S.
4、 Dynamic monitoring and data management of hydrogen gas detector
1. Detection method:
Probe angle: Maintain a 30 ° tilt angle with the detection surface and move at a constant speed of ≤ 0.2m/s.
Key areas: Scan high-risk leakage points such as flange interfaces and valve shafts to ensure no omissions.
2. Display mode:
Support simultaneous display of four gas concentrations, large font cyclic display of single channel concentration or real-time curve.
Can be set to display MAX value, MIN value, and gas name for easy data recording and analysis.
3. Alarm function:
If the concentration exceeds 25ppm, it will automatically trigger a level three alarm (sound and light+vibration+data cloud synchronization).
The alarm value can be set, and the alarm methods can be low alarm, high alarm, interval alarm, or weighted average alarm.
4. Data export:
Support USB/Bluetooth dual-mode export of detection logs and generation of PDF format reports.
Optional external micro wireless infrared printer, capable of printing company name, gas name, date and time, environmental temperature and humidity, and detection results.
5、 Shutdown and maintenance of hydrogen detector
1. Shutdown steps:
Turn off detector flames (such as FID detectors) and key parameters (such as bridge current, column temperature).
Reduce the temperature of each heating module to below 40 ℃ and turn off the instrument power.
Turn off the main switch and branch switches (carrier gas, gas, and auxiliary gas) to prevent gas leakage.
2. Daily maintenance:
Clean the sensor: Clean the sensor filter membrane and wipe it with a dedicated cleaning cotton swab or alcohol.
Regular calibration: Return to the factory every six months for electrochemical unit activation treatment to extend the lifespan of the sensor.
Battery management: using high-capacity rechargeable polymer batteries, supporting USB charging, compatible with mobile phone chargers, with overcharge, overdischarge, overvoltage, short circuit, and overheating protection.
