17. This series of instruments adopts a two-point calibration method, and once the above steps are completed, they enter the measurement state.
18. For the HU900 instrument, press and hold the CAL key for 6 seconds to directly enter the calibration mode. The correction method is the same as the above method.
11、 Calibration of ORP meter
Usually, ORP electrodes do not need to be calibrated with standard solution, but mV standard solution should be used to check the ORP electrode. The most important purpose is to see if the electrode has failed.
1. Clean the ORP electrode with clean water and dry it with a soft tissue;
2. Immerse the electrode into the prepared ORP standard solution value and wait for the display to stabilize;
3. Check if the displayed value is close to the ORP standard solution value. If the error is within plus or minus 35mV, the electrode can be used normally. Otherwise, the electrode needs to be replaced.
4. If calibration is required, please follow the steps below:
5. Short circuit terminals 9 and 11 behind the instrument with a piece of wire
6. Press and hold the menu button for 6 seconds to enter the function menu. Find the menu with CAL displayed on the main screen and "----" displayed on the secondary screen;
7. Press it∧Key, the secondary display screen shows P1;
8. Press the menu button once, the main display screen shows P1, and the secondary display screen shows 0 (if not 0, press∧, ∨Change the key to 0. If using another standard solution, please change this value to match the standard solution;
9. Press the menu button, the main display screen will show 0, and the secondary display screen will show NO;
10. Press it∧Key, the secondary display screen shows YES;
11. Press the menu button, and both the main and secondary displays will show P1;
12. After a few seconds, the main display screen shows CAL, and the secondary display screen shows "-------" P1 point calibration completed. Clean the electrode with clean water and dry it with a soft tissue. Immerse the electrode in the prepared 220mV ORP standard solution and wait for the display to stabilize;
13. Press and hold the menu button for 6 seconds to enter the function menu. Find the menu with CAL displayed on the main screen and "-------" displayed on the secondary screen;
14. Press it∧or∨Key, the secondary display screen shows P2;
15. Press the menu button, the main display screen shows P2, and the secondary display screen shows 220 (if not 220)
Control the target value.
●Use the menu key to access the Lb menu∧or∨The key will modify the parameters on the attached display screen to the interval value to be controlled by the low point.
For example, it is required to control the addition of alkali and maintain the pH value of the medium within
Between 9-10.
Setting method: LoAL is set to "9.5", Lb is set to "0.5".
