From March 26th to 28th, 2025, the 24th "X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy Analysis Technology and Application" training course, jointly organized by Lixue Electric Enterprise Instrument (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Huapu General Technology Co., Ltd., successfully concluded at the Meihao Lizhi Hotel in Guangzhou.
The purpose of this training is to enhance the application level of X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy (XRF) technology, promote innovative development of analytical techniques, and invite instrument users and industry experts from all over the country, totaling more than 60 people to participate.
Through a combination of theoretical lectures and interactive communication, we aim to help our clients gain a deeper understanding of the core knowledge and practical skills of XRF technology during the three-day learning period.

The training course design is comprehensive and covers the basic theory, instrument operation, and practical application of XRF technology. The specific content is as follows:
Basic principles of WDXRF
Starting from the generation of X-rays, fluorescence principles, and wavelength dispersive XRF (WDXRF) instrument principles, the lecturer explained the technical core in a clear and concise manner, laying a theoretical foundation for subsequent courses.
WDXRF hardware structure and maintenance
Describe the functions and maintenance points of key components such as detectors, spectrometers, X-ray tubes, etc., and master the troubleshooting methods for common faults.
Graph recognition and qualitative semi quantitative analysis
Combining element spectrum legend, understand how to identify element types through characteristic peaks and quickly complete semi quantitative analysis using software tools.

Matrix effect and mathematical correction
In response to the interference of matrix effects on the results of XRF analysis, the course provides a detailed explanation of the application scenarios and operational techniques of correction models such as empirical coefficient method and theoretical alpha coefficient method.
Standardization process for XRF sample preparation
The lecturer emphasized key factors such as sample uniformity and particle size control, from powder pressing method to melting method sampling.
Optimization of analysis conditions and development of custom methods
Guide students to adjust parameters such as voltage, current, and measurement time based on sample characteristics, and establish a personalized analysis method library, significantly improving the applicability of the instrument

This training has deeply integrated theory and practice, laying a solid foundation for the promotion and application of XRF technology.
In the future, we will regularly hold technical exchange meetings to promote innovative applications of X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy technology in mineral and non-ferrous metal fields. Looking forward to seeing you again next time!
