Operation guide for composite combustible gas detector
Date: 2025-08-22Read: 2
Composite gas detectorIt is a portable device used for real-time monitoring of hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, oxygen, and combustible gas concentrations, mainly applied in industrial safety, confined space operations, and hazardous environment detection.
More than 30 types of plug and play smart sensors are available for selection, such as volatile organic compound (VOC), toxic and harmful electrochemical sensors, oxygen, catalytic combustion sensors, and infrared sensors. The sensors can be flexibly configured in any combination.
Multiple gas sensors can be independently opened or closed, effectively avoiding cross interference between detected gases and extending the service life of the sensors.
Adopting an embedded 32-bit ultra-low power microprocessor, it has short response time, small detection error, and high resolution.
Equipped with an infrared remote control, menu operations can be performed through the remote control, which can achieve cover free operation in dangerous situations.
Intelligent temperature, humidity, and zero point compensation algorithms, with full software automatic calibration function for target points above level 2, ensure the accuracy of measurement results; Automatically detect the working status of various sensors and components upon startup.
Basic operation steps:
Power on and self-test:
Long press the power button to start the device (usually takes 3 seconds), the screen will light up and automatically enter the self-test process. After the countdown ends, real-time gas concentration data will be displayed. The preheating time varies by model (30 seconds to 2 minutes), and mobile devices should be avoided during this period.
Selection of detection mode:
Diffuse: Suitable for open environments, directly exposed to air for monitoring.
Pump suction: Extract gas from a sealed space through a hose, and manually turn on the sampling pump (some models require a separate button).
Alarm response:
When exceeding the limit, sound and light vibration alarm will be triggered (the sound can be set to be turned off), and the value will flash to indicate the current dangerous gas.
