Pull type weighing sensor is a device that converts physical weight into measurable electrical signals
Date: 2025-07-08Read: 0
Pull type weighing sensor is a device that converts physical weight into measurable electrical signals, mainly used in industrial weighing scenarios. It has the characteristics of high accuracy, good stability, and easy installation. ‌
By using elastic materials such as steel or aluminum to produce small deformations under external forces, internal resistance strain gauges sense the deformation and convert it into electrical signals for output, achieving weight measurement. Suitable for equipment such as hook scales and batching scales.
Pull type weighing sensors operate based on the resistance strain effect. When an elastic body (elastic element or sensitive beam) undergoes elastic deformation under external force, the resistance strain gauge (conversion element) attached to its surface will also deform accordingly. After the deformation of the resistance strain gauge, its resistance value will change (increase or decrease). Then, through the corresponding measurement circuit, this resistance change is converted into voltage output, thus completing the process of converting external force into electrical signal.
Main Features
High precision: using strain gauge technology to achieve accurate measurement.
Stability: Strong anti-interference ability, suitable for industrial environments.
Easy installation: suitable for various industrial weighing scenarios.
When choosing a pull type weighing sensor, the following factors need to be considered:
Sensitivity: The higher the sensitivity, the more accurate the measurement, but the impact of external noise on the weighing sensor is also greater. Therefore, it is necessary to choose sensors with good noise resistance performance.
Accuracy: The higher the accuracy of the weighing sensor, the higher the price. But the accuracy requirement only needs to reach a slightly higher level of instrument output that meets the requirements of the weighing system to avoid unnecessary expenses.
Stability: Sensors with high stability have a longer service life. The factors that affect the stability of sensors are not only the quality of the sensors, but also the working environment. Therefore, when choosing a sensor, it is necessary to consider its applicable environment.
The number and range of sensors: The number and range of sensors for different purposes vary. The specific selection should be based on the weight and type of the object being measured. Generally, the actual weight of the measured object should be below 70% of the sensor range to reduce sensor wear and extend its service life.
