The principle of ultrasonic leak detection
The ultrasonic leak detection method is mainly based on "sound": when air flows from the high-pressure side of the leak to the low-pressure side, turbulence will be generated around the leak; Ultrasonic detection instruments can detect ultrasonic signals generated by turbulence in the air.
Ultrasonic testing technology can be applied to various types of leak detection, including pressure leaks, vacuum leaks, and any type of compressed gas leakage. Mainly in places with explosion-proof requirements, it is necessary to choose "ATEX" Or explosion-proof certified instruments such as "IS" (intrinsic safety models).
