Single beam infrared gas analyzer is a device that uses the principle of infrared absorption to measure gas concentration. Its core features are simple structure, low cost, and suitable for basic gas detection needs.
core functionality
High precision measurement: adopting a single beam design, detecting gas concentration through infrared light absorption, with an accuracy of ± 1% FS, good stability, and small drift.
Strong anti-interference ability: insensitive to changes in background gas concentration, suitable for measuring specific components in multi-component mixed gases.
Fast response speed: The response time T90 is generally within 10 seconds, suitable for rapid detection.
Selection principle
Gas type detection: Select the corresponding wavelength filter or light source based on the target gas.
Concentration range: Confirm whether the instrument range covers the actual requirements (such as ppm or percentage level).
Environmental adaptability: If used in high temperature, high humidity, or corrosive environments, it is necessary to choose models with high protection levels.
Output interface: Select analog signal (4-20mA) or digital interface (RS485/Modbus) according to data requirements.
Precautions for use
Regular calibration: It is recommended to calibrate every 3-6 months using standard gas or zero gas (such as high-purity nitrogen).
Air chamber cleaning: Avoid dust or water vapor entering the air chamber, which may cause light path pollution or signal attenuation.
Temperature compensation: If the ambient temperature fluctuates greatly, the temperature compensation function should be enabled or a constant temperature device should be equipped.
Avoid strong light interference: Prevent external infrared light sources (such as sunlight and heat sources) from directly shining on the detector, which may affect detection accuracy.
